Previously: It was a matter of time before I snapped......
"Get up" I demanded the sleeping bodies that lay before me. Five seconds roll by but still no sign of movement. "Get up.....now!!!" I yelled with as much venom as possible.
The gun clutch in my hand as I point it in their direction. She shrieks frightenedly while he tries to stay calm.
"What are you doing?....." he asked with tearful eyes, I could sense the fear in his voice as he spoke again "Katrina, you're scaring your mothe-" cutting him off, I step closer. They push their bodies up against the backboard as an attempt to get as far away as possible.
"Does it look like I care?" I whispered with no type of emotion what so ever.
I stare into his daunting eyes.
"NO....." I cried loudly as he lunged forward, forcefully grabbing my jaw and pushing my head against the wall. I try to squirm out of his reach but failed.
"This is your fault" he yelled shoving me into the basement then locking it soon after. Banging on the basement door. " Dad, let me out.....please," I screamed.
"Shut up....just shut up¨ mom shouted out of annoyance. "If only they would've just taken you instead"
"I didn't do It" I weeped.
Holding my freshly bruised face as I look into the dirty mirror beside me. Only the reflection of a broken girl stared back. Tears fall from my eyes as I sift through my broken thoughts.
Years of mental abuse finally surfacing.
Why.....Why me? I thought
"They have caused you so much pain" quickly turning my head in the direction of the voice. There It was. "For all these years they blamed you for the death of your sister" It spoke to me.
"I didn't do it. I didn't kill her" I sobbed quietly.
"I know you didn't. Just take my offer and I promise you will be free of pain, take my offer there will be no more life in vain."
So I took it......
