"Today is the day Chris, it's time to get up!" I said excitedly as I shook Chris to wake him up. We'd been thinking about getting a pet for the longest and had finally decided to get us a baby Pitbull to have inside of the house. I loved dogs and so did he, so it was the perfect addition to our home.

"All right, relax", he said as he began to wake up, "I should be more excited about this happening than you are".

Seeing as it was asleep amongst the chaos, it was definitely a newborn.

"I think that one's perfect", Chris said to me as he walked up and held me by the waist, "that dog is so beautiful, just like you".

I looked back at him and gave him a quick kiss before I turned and walked over to an employee, pointing at the dog. The process flew past once he spotted the one I'd pointed out. Before I knew it, paperwork had been signed, vaccines administered, toys and accessories bought, and I finally had my first official dog.

"He seems to be favoring you a lot" Chris said as we drove home. The dog, who I'd decided to call Sunny, slept in my lap as he breathed happily while I stroked his head.

"Yeah, I'm so happy", I said as I looked up at Chris, "thank you so much".

"Hey, don't do that", Chris said as he visibly became slightly embarrassed, "you know I love dogs too and I'm gonna probably steal him away from you every chance I get". I laughed at his words as we pulled up to the house and we got out, Sunny still fast asleep in my arms. We wasted no time getting him comfortable on our bed as we built his new bed and set up his toys around the house. I wanted him to be as comfortable around here as possible, of course while also being trained not to turn our house into his personal toilet.

"Well, I think that's everything" Chris called as he set down a weewee pad near the bed, looking a little exhausted as he sat down on the bed carefully, examining Sunny as he slept.

"He's a cute lil' thing", he said, "it's making me think of expanding our family a little more".

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" I asked as I set Sunny down onto his bed and climbed under the covers, pulling Chris under with me as I held onto him.

"Well, y'know, maybe we can have some little ones running around here too".

"And here I was thinking I'd be the one to be thinking about kids" I chuckled slightly as he nibbled into my neck slightly and pinned me down beneath him.

"Seriously though, what do you think of something like that?"

"I think I'd love that very much" I responded as I gave him a quick kiss and reached over and pulled the covers over us some more. "Today's been quite busy, gonna sleep with me?"

"You know I wouldn't wanna do anything else right now".

Once again, I've taken quite some time to update. College is gonna take a while to adjust to, but I have not forgotten about you guys!
