The Beginning Of My New Life

" We have to go now, Lindsy! " my mom said. Ill be right down! We always try to get to get to places at least ten minutes before everyone is supposed to be there. My family and I are from Erudite, and my brothers and I are going to make a big decision today, picking our final faction to be in. My two brothers, Alex and Mark are not going to stay here, by the way they are acting today. Alex sounds more interested in Candor and Mark was talking about Abnegation. I know what i'm going to pick, Dauntless. Our parents are being super supportive and the three of us appreciate it a lot. We are a little sad that we let our childhood slip by, but now we are grown-ups and we have a big choice we have to make, ALONE. We also have a little brother, whose name is Rick. He is so sweet, i'm going to miss him. He is only five years old and having to see his siblings leave is going to hurt him. Seeing us split up to go to different factions. I just hope that when he grows up, he will understand why. Once we get there we go to our seats and let the ceremony begin. Our names were called, we kissed our brother goodbye and hugged our parents, and left our only true family and home. One by one we picked our faction, and went to join our faction in the stands. I also noticed that a girl named Tris Prior, an Abnegation girl, was also looking a little lost. We were dismissed to leave to our new factions and the Abnegation girl ran beside me, and we talked. She was wearing a grey and white long-ish dress while I wore a light blue shirt,blue pants, and light blue flats. We kept up with the rest of the Dauntless and got on the platform. We all ran once we saw the train and I jumped on after a few, I felt worried when Tris was behind, she was running out of time and platform. I looked out again and she wasn't there, I guess she got in the last car. It was crowded so I couldn't go see if she was there, I was hoping she was, she was nice. I talked with a few people around me and then it was time to jump. We quit talking and jumped. I was one of the first and people followed. I made it and surprisingly I landed on my feet and ran forwards a little. That's when I noticed someone who was watching me since he saw me in the train. He stood on the edge of a ledge and waited until everyone was on the roof. One of the things that surprised me, was the fact that he just looked straight at me, like no one else was there. Once everyone gathered around, he turned his attention to the whole group, and gave his introduction speech...
