Hey Everyone! Just a heads-up or reminder, I am using parts of Divergent, and the other parts are mine, again I am using parts of Veronica Roths story. Please don't get mad, I just wanted to change it up a bit!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After being rudely awakened and told to head to the training room we all met the two leaders standing next to the board. They tell us that if we were still under the red line then we would be cut. I looked for my name, it was right there under the line, not a problem then. Today was just practicing on what we thought we needed work on, so I went to the punching bags, because i'm already good at throwing knives. I was lost in the moment while I was punching the bags and didn't even notice I was being watched by the most hated leader, Eric. Once he spoke up was when I realized I was still in training. You can barely move the bag. He says, still watching my fists hit the bag. "Ok? I am still learning, it wont be long until I make it move, i'm new to Dauntless, so I wont be the best at some things. " I say, more concentrated on the bag in front of me than him. 'Just because you are new is no exception.' He says with no emotion. I look at him once he says this. 'Alright, lets have a fight. Lindsy versis...Tris. In the ring, Now.' My stomach sunk. I would have to fight a new friend, and one of us will sink a few levels after this fight...During the fight we were both trying not to hurt each other too bad, but at least punch each other. In the end, I was the one who won, while Tris was on the mat, with blood from her nose. It mentally hurt me, to see that I hurt my friend for a higher rank. What was wrong with me? Four, the other trainer in the room, grabbed Tris off of the mat and took her to the infirmary, while the rest of us went back to training. I looked at my new score on the board, I was above the line, and Tris was just about the last one. I felt terrible and hoped she would make it. When I looked at Eric, he had a small smirk on his face, and I gave him a look that would kill. I now know why people hated him, and I just joined them...
