1. Brandon Miller is a 15 year old kid who is kinda shy and outgoing. He is the main character of the series. His birthday is August 20 and he is a Leo. He is in 10th Grade. He is the SHSL Ultimate Helper, but he gets this title later on in the book. His only friends are Ren Itami and Mymy Tisa. He is very short, standing only 5' 3" and he weighs 196 lbs. He has a little sister who he cares for, 7 year old Kourtney. He made a vow to help everyone get out of Hope's Peak and Monokuma's Trap. He is the only American in this book.

2. Ren Itami is a 16 year old guy who is in love with ninjas. He is the SHSL Ultimate Ninja. His best friends include Mymy Tisa and Brandon Miller. His birthday is November 24 and he is a Sagittarius. His ninjutsu moves include "Rising Blade" where he summons a barrage of katanas from below the earth and "Shuriken Slice" in which he slices his enemies into pieces using nothing but an enchanted shuriken. His significant other is Okazaki Mayu. He is 5' 8" and weighs 134 lbs.

3. Veniko Tisa or the SHSL Ultimate Violinist is 5' 6" and weighs 125 lbs. He is obsessed with violins, having win many competitions and even winning a scholarship to a top notch college. Other than playing in the orchestra band, he spends his time singing. His birthday is March 2. He is 15 years old. Because of his love her music, people threaten and bully him, but only one person actually keeps an eye out for him, Mymy Tisa, his lifelong friend. He is overly excessive about his looks and his attitude towards situations is unbearable. His significant other is no one in particular.

4. Mymy Tisa is a 15 year old girl who is just like Brandon very much. She is very short for her age and is very shy and quiet. But that is only because she is the SHSL Ultimate Mime. She takes her miming very seriously. The only time she stops is when she is in private with a best friend in the room and when her family talks to her. Her birthday is March 2, just like Veniko's and she only stands 5' 0". She is best friends with Brandon, Ren, and especially Veniko. She is shy but she is also very perverted, so watch out for her.She also has a crush on Brandon


5. Okazaki Mayu or "Spade" due to her luck is a 15 year old girl who is the SHSL Ultimate Hacker. Her birthday is September 27 and she is a Virgo. She has a big brother which is a former SHSL Lucky Student and an uncle which is a former SHSL Programmer, she got scouted to Hope's Peak due to her skills that can hack beyond nation, has a nickname "Spade" and preferred to be called that way, she don't tell her real name in the school killing game tho.
Personality: She's a secretive type, quiet, and a clean freak. She likes Monokuma because she thinks that robots like that is Ultra rare, she has a habit of collecting robots since kindergarten, she can be really sweet once you get to know her, she is the type of person who likes to hide their emotions. Her best friend is Mika Kuromi. Her significant other is Ren Itami.

6. Mika Kuromi, or The SHSL Ultimate Electrician, is a 17 year old girl who LOVES working on machinery. Her best friend is Okazaki Mayu. She is 5' 9" and weighs 140 lbs. She is in love with Miko Juzaki. Kuromi is kind hearted and good at solving problems.
