Chapter 15

(about a month later)

NIALL'S POV

All of the boys were in the living room, Brianna and Julie had gone shopping. I had wanted to ask them a question for a while, mainly Zayn. He would know the best about this.

"Can I ask you guys a question, especially Zayn?" I said, breaking the silence.

"Sure." Zayn replied.

"Where can I buy a engagement ring?" I said.

They smiled.

"I know a couple good ones, do you want me to take you tomorrow?" he said.

I nodded. Our talk was ended short with the girls walking in with shopping bags, laughing.

"Oh my gosh. The funniest thing happened today at the mall." Julie said.

"So this guy was trying to flirt with me, and he came up to me and he was like 'You got a boyfriend?' and I said, 'Yes, nice try' and he walked away, looking back at me saying 'Well, come to me if you want a stable, hot man' and then he fell down the stairs." Brianna said laughing.

I started laughing at that

"Oh I peed myself. I'll be right back." Julie said

"So, what did you guys do?" Brianna asked.

"Talked." Harry said.

"About what?"

I hesitated.

"Stuff." I said

"What kind of stuff?" She said

"Your nosy. And football players." I said, calmly.

"Mm, k. I'm hungry. I'm fixing pasta." She said.

Julie returned, and helped Brianna fix the pasta. It was dinnertime, and I was hungry. Once they were done, we ate in parts because we were laughing. It was really stupid. But it was fun. Then we settled for a movie. By 11 pm, I was the only one awake. I carried Brianna into the bedroom, put her down and I fell asleep. Even though today wasn't eventful, tomorrow will.

*da morning* 

I woke up, and everyone was up. What a coincidence. I walked into the kitchen where everyone was, and I winked at Zayn.

"Alright, me and Niall are going out. We will be back in about a couple of hours." Zayn said

"Well then me and Julie are going out too. Again." Brianna said.

"Fine." I said.

I got ready, and me and Zayn headed out. We went to the mall, and we ended up at Zales. A nice lady came up to us.

"Hello welcome to Zales, my name is Lisa and I will be helping you today. What are you looking for?" Lisa said.

"An engagement ring." I said.

"Over here are our engagement rings. What are you looking for in a ring?"

"I don't know. I don't really want anything colored, she won't like that." I said.

"Talk to me about her. I can find maybe a couple rings that will fit her. Describe her." She said.

I described her, and she listened. Then Zayn's eyes grew.

"Talking about her, there she is with Julie!"

"We need to hide!" I said.

Lisa opened up the doors to one of the station things, and we ducked in. They started to walk over.

"What can I interest you in today ladies?" Lisa said.

"Can we look at the rings?" Brianna suggested.

Zayn chuckled. I put my hand over his mouth.

"Like engagement?" Lisa asked.

"Sort of. We are just looking." Julie said.

They looked around, pointing out a couple different rings. There was one that Brianna seemed to really like.

"How much?" Brianna asked.

"45,000." Lisa said to her.

"Oo, I wouldn't want Niall to spend that much. But then again he probably isn't going to be buying me a ring for a while. I need to go before I really fall in love with it." Brianna said.

Then they left. We got out of hiding, and we went to the ring that Brianna had liked. I looked at it. It was amazing. No wonder why Brianna liked it. It was gorgeous. I wondered why it was so expensive though. It was simple, yet elegant. It had a diamond like a normal ring, and it was studded with diamonds all around the ring. I loved it.

"I will take this one." I said to Lisa.

"But, Niall Brianna said that she didn't want you to spend that much money." Zayn said

"She will get over it. " I said. Lisa laughed.

"She has a lucky man to be spending this much money on her." Lisa said.

"Anything for my princess. I have plenty of money to go around. Not to sound cocky or anything." I said.

"Just asking, how do you get all of this money?" Lisa said.

"I am in a band called One Direction."

"Oh! My daughter loves you! Can I get an autograph for her? Her name is Kris."

"Okay, only if you don't say anything about the engagement ring." I said.

Me and Zayn gave her an autograph, and we left. We got home, luckily only the rest of the boys were home.

"So how did it go?" Liam asked.

"Crazy." I said, kicking off my shoes.  

"Tell us,  we got time. Julie texted me saying that they wont be home for another hour or so." Harry said.

I told them about the adventure, and they laughed at us hiding.

"Show us the ring!" Louis said.

I brought it out, and they all gasped.

"How much?" Louis asked.

"Forty five thousand. I beat Zayn." I said.

"That's a lot." Harry said.

"Anything for her." I said.

"WE ARE HOME BISHES!!" Brianna said running into the home.

I shoved the ring into my front pocket.

"Why were you guys huddled up?" Brianna said.

"Uh, there is a blister near my southern region." I made up.

The guys started giggling.

"Well then let me see it." Brianna said.

"I'll show you later, not right now." I said.

"Exactly." she said.

The boys were dying. I flicked them off.

The day went on lazily, as usual.
