Chapter Nine ││ Confronting

James' POV

I need to know what the truth is with Beau and Skylar. Something is up with them, I mean at the wedding, they were talking, laughing and dancing, yet when we were celebrating the new year, Beau told us he didn't want to be an uncle anymore. And at the barbeque, he took off suddenly and before he did, he was acting strange.

To: Beau

'I need to talk to you. Can we meet now?'

From: Beau

'Sure, where?'

To: Beau

'My house'

Beau's POV

"I have to go see James now. Can you tell Mum I'll meet you at Nonna's though." I said as I grabbed my keys.

"Why do you have to go see James?" Jai asked

"I don't know. He just text me telling me he needs to talk" I replied before walking out the door and starting to drive to his.

I got to James' and walked in.

"James'" I yelled as I walked in

"Hey" James said as he walked through to the lounge

"What's going on?" I asked cautiously

"I need to ask you something and you need to be honest with me Beau." James said seriously

"Ok." I replied warily

"What's with you and Skylar?" James asked me

"Nothing" I replied hoping he would let it slide but knowing better.

"Don't give me nothing Beau. You and her act hot and cold. I know Enzo is your son Beau." James stated firmly slightly raising his voice.

"You don't know anything James." I stated

"Well then explain it to me." James countered

"I don't have to explain anything to you James. This is our business, no one elses." I said

"No it is our business Beau. If your Enzo's dad and we all know you're in love with Skylar, then it is. It affects us Beau, it affects the Janoskians." James yelled

I walked out and got into my car, and drove away. I needed to text Sky and let her know, prepare her just in case James confronted her.

I got around the corner and pulled over to text Sky.

To: Sky

'James knows that I'm Enzo's dad; he just confronted me. I didn't tell him anything but I just wanted to let you know in case he wants to talk to you.'

Skylar's POV

I was waiting at the airport for Ryan to get off his plane. Enzo's at kindergarten and Daniel is going to pick him up and then he is staying at Dad's for the night. My phone went off; I got it out and saw I had a text from Beau.

From: Beau

'James knows that I'm Enzo's dad; he just confronted me. I didn't tell him anything but I just wanted to let you know in case he wants to talk to you.'

I texted him back immediately

To: Beau

'I'm sorry that I put you in that position. Thanks for letting me know.'

I quickly locked my phone and put it back in my bag, just as Ryan came through.

"Hi Skylar" Ryan said hugging me

"Hi Ryan" I said

"Is everything ok?" Ryan asked

"Not really." I replied as we started walking out to the car park

"What's going on?" He asked

"Let's just talk when we get to yours" I replied as we got in the car.

We got to Ryan's and walked in.

"Right lets talk." Ryan said sitting down

"I'm sorry Ryan." I said as I pulled my sleeves down over my hands

"What are you sorry for?" Ryan asked

"I can't do this anymore. I'm so confused and its not fair to you, so I have to end this, end us." I replied

"You're breaking up with me." Ryan stated

"Yes." I replied quietly

"I should go. I'm sorry Ryan" I said as I got up and walked out.
