Chapter 9

At least ten hours later I finally heard the gravel crumble underneath the tires as drove towards the winter castle, it's grey looming walls coated in ivy. I pulled into the round about drive way and parked my car, stepping out of the car I was hit with a gust of wind a gust that could surly carry my sent with it. I quickly ran and grabbed my luggage before making a dash for the front door. I lifted the potted plant and took the key that was hidden there I unlocked the door and stepped inside locking the door behind me. I flicked on a light switch and looked around as the castle now Illuminated with light white sheets coated most of the furniture. I grabbed my bags and walked up the vast staircase, once at the top I walked towards the massive gold double doors and walked inside. In the middle was a massive dark brown bed the sheets gold and white. There was a massive flat screen tv and a whole wall covered in pictures. Setting down the bags I made my way towards the pictures everyone looked so happy and so did Colton. I walked into the on suite and looked around it was then that I caught a good look at the moon full and red that meant that the King and his men were at their strongest.

Well it looks like if they decide to come looking for me I'm basically screwed. Searching other rooms I found a hand gun which I would never use but would be good to have. I even went to the kitchen and discovered I would need to buy some food tomorrow. I walked up the staircase and went to the kings and queens room I quickly changed and went to bed.

I opened my groggy eyes and slowly climbed out of bed, I walk towards the bathroom and have a quick shower when I get out I change into a pair of black high waisted tights with a white crop top and combat boots. I then straighten my hair and apply light make up. I grab my purse and the gun I found yesterday and slip that in my waist band well throwing on a long grey cardigan. I run down the staircase and out the front door locking it behind me. I slip into the car and drive towards the town about ten minutes away, I stop at Tim Hortons and get a medium French vanilla a hash brown and a fruit explosion muffin. I continue driving until I see the grocery store, I park the car and walk towards the store. Once inside I grab a cart filling it with breads, pastas, fruits, veggies, meats and of course candy, I check out and head back to the car where I put the groceries away. I glance at my phone and notice that I spent a couple hours in there and that I had one missed call from the beta. I ignore it and drive back to the castle in peace, I drive up the familiar driveway and park the car. I step out and as I'm about to make my way to the trunk a gust of wind carries multiple scents from the castle to where I stand. I walk towards the front door and notice that it's open a little I pull the gun out and kick open the door and as soon as I step inside I'm meet by three tired looking werewolves I didn't notice them but that didn't matter. I move my arms upwards and fire the gun, which gets thrown out of my hands and across the room as the men run after it. I charge up the stairs but someone grabs my ankle and pulls me down the stairs but as I roll down the stairs I feel the atmosphere thicken and I quickly stand up.

I turn around to where one of the werewolves holds his bleeding arm the other two stand looking at me. I now stand with my back to the door again and let me tell you how bad of an idea that was, because a set of arms wrapped around my waist and knowing who the comforting arms belonged to I relaxed and because my wolf was in control I forgave him for now.
