Chapter 5

Why did he put me on the spot like that. I mean if I don't want to answer I don't have to. He replied with a laughing emoji as I wondered what he was up to.

Then I instantly received another text with him. It read:

Hey Sweetie meet me at the club today. I will just cancel my plans with my girlfriend and meet you there! Love you! 😘💕

I felt a tear running down my eyes. I replied with a thanks for being a great boyfriend. I then heard the beeping of a car and as I lift my head up everything went black and the last thing I saw was a 2010 Silver Mercedes and the license tag reading 'FABO123'

I spotted a bright light that enlightened the mood. Then all of a sudden from that light my mom walked towards me. I was flabbergasted.

"Mom... What happened? Where am I? The last thing I remember is crashing into a car and then I blacked out." I explained.

She explained what had happened but I still didn't seem to recall my memory. It shocked me how my life literally flashed before my very own eyes but it was because of something and I don't realize or catch a glimpse of what it is.

Austin's POV

Another day working at Le Franće and I get a call from Alex. Of course, I answer it but he just starts screaming in my ear.

"Slow down, what's wrong?" I was confused.

"Ariana got into a car accident she is in Memorial West Hospital right now checking what happened. If you want you can come because I know you have feeling for her!" Alex blabbers over the phone.

"On my way." I announced grabbing my keys and dramatically storming out of the coffee shop.

~At the hospital~

"Room 516, but sir you have to wait in the waiting room for about an hour until the doctors finish diagnosing her.

I notice that she laid still for quite a while without a slight movement other then her deep breaths. She had the tubes through her nose as it connected to the half full Saline pouch. It hurt me to see her hurting like that but there not much I can do.

The doctor comes in the room and give me a stank look.

"What are you doing in here? Please leave!" he presumes. I made my way or if the room looking back at her noticing she was being moved by the doctors as they realized she slipped into a comma.

My jaw dropped. Alex and Ariana's dad had finally arrived and they asked the doctor where they were taking Ariana.

"I'm sorry to say this but your daughter had just slipped into a comma. She will have to be in the hospital for about 2-4 weeks so we hope." The doctor broke the news.

"Will she lose her memory?" questioned her dad. It is highly unlikely but just to ask.

"Probably not. We'll I have to continue my job so just come back in about 4 weeks or we will call u when she leave the comma. Sorry for this news. Have a wonderful day!" the doctor said.

All we have to do now is wait.
