Chapter 12

Ariana POV

"None of your business! Now if you can excuse me I need to find my boyfriend because if you didn't know it is our anniversar With that I left him there standing not looking back and not caring if he was staring at me or not. I am happy with Jacob and I don't need anyone else right now.

"Read your messages... it proves everything!" he screamed but his voice fainted in the distance. I don't need to read anything. I trust him.

"Hey babe! Did they have anything to drink?"

"Not really? There was only beer and we don't need any right now." He buckled and I began to giggle.

"Wanna get back in the water?"

He had a smirk on his face and we just jumped in again and finished our splash fight. Of course I won and it's because he kinda let me. The day went on and we continued make each other laugh and just playing around. At around 7:30 we packed our stuff and went to "Chili's" across the street.

I,of course, ordered my chicken enchilada soup and a plate of 12 nachos that had steak and melted shredded cheese. Mmmmm!! Jacob on the other hand preferred to eat a burger.

Ariana's POV still

"Yeah lemme ask her."Jacob is on the phone talking to his friend Matt.

"Babe, Wanna go to Matt's party? It just started and our Anniversary is practically over sadly."

"Ummm... I guess sweetie let me take a shower and get dressed an we'll go. Is that fine?"

"Of course!"

"Meet you there Matt!"

I took a quick shower and washed my salty hair. I decided to blow dry it and then curl it with my new curling iron. Then I grabbed a white crop top with the words "CHILL OUT" in rainbow letters. I then picked out my tie-dyed ripped shorts to go with it and my aqua vans. At last to top everything off I put a nice white lace bow now as a finishing touch.

"Woah!" Jacob comments as I walk down his stairs to make our way towards the door.

"Wait before we go I forgot to give you this!"

My eyes shot open OMG!! it was a real gold necklace with matching earring and a watch and 3 different types of bracelets.

"That's so beautiful!!"

"Just like you!"

I turned around smiled at him and kissed him. He returned the kiss. We stayed there for a good 2 minutes. He grabbed my hips as I grabbed his back and we pulled each other closer.

"We'll we have to go." I break the kiss and remind him.

Knocking in the door I could hear the loud music as if it's my earbuds in my ear. When they opened the door the music blasted towards my face. I saw so many people but the worst part is I don't remember any of them.

"Sup brah!" exclaimed Jacob saying it to someone who seemed to be his friend, Matt. Jacob said thank's for the invite now let's get our party on. He followed Matt along with some other random people to the pool table in the next room while I stood like a loner in the entrance. I didn't remember or recognize anyone so it was pretty difficult.

I found a perfectly empty couch with my name written all over it. I sat down all by myself and waited there for awhile. I watched the guys play pool but then they offered me to play.

"Why not?"

Our game was pretty long and I was against Matt all by myself. Guess what? I won.

"I won!! No one can beat me."

After playing against Matt I had to use the bathroom so I asked where the bathroom was and he pointed up stairs and to the left. I pushed towards the crowd and finally got to the stairs. I had passed through so many drunk people that it's not even funny. I probably reek of beer. I walked up the stairs and saw that someone was already in the bathroom.

"Dammit" I whisper.

Whatever I'll wait. I lean up against the wall right in front of bathroom and just start thinking. Thinking about my life and what's been happening. About my father.

Then a voice interrupts me from my thoughts.

"Hellllooooo?" The voice says again.

"Oh I'm sorry." I regain myself and look up at the person standing in front of me. It was Austin.

I begin to walk away but he grabs my arm and turns me around.

"Let me go!" I scream at him.

"I need.. To tell.. You something" He said slurring his words.

I could smell alcohol in his breath and knew he was drunk. I wasn't that strong though. Maybe like 4 drinks. It was enough to make him a little drunk and act funny.

"No your drunk! I can't believe anything you say!" I yell whipping my arm out of his grip.

"Please just listen. Please" He said. His eyes lightened and I could tell he was serious.

"Alright. What is it?" I ask sighing.

"You need to check your messages on your phone. Jacob is cheating on you. Or he was but that's what caused your car crash. He accidentally texted you about canceling plans with you to go out with another girl. You were crying and didn't see the car in front of you. You crashed and lost your memory. But I didn't and I won't ever. I love you. I always have since I first met you that day in your house. But please trust me and read your messages." He says.

His eyes were watering and I don't know if it was from being 'drunk' or crying. I feel bad but can I trust him. I mean it won't hurt to read the messages. If anything I could prove to him that he's wrong and that Jacob is an awesome boyfriend.

"I guess I could read the messages. But not now later. I'm here with Jacob.."

"Of course." Austin says interrupting me.

"Well ok bye!" I say as he starts walking away.

"Bye." Austin whispers but I could still hear him. He sounded hurt and broken. Did I do this to him?

I take out my phone and start to read the messages. I couldn't take it out of my head.

"Wait Austin!"
