Chapter 6

~4 weeks later~

Austin's POV

I just noticed that her boyfriend hasn't even called to know how she's been. Ariana's dad and I have been talking about her for quite some time and today he offered if I wanted to come to dinner to be with them to welcome Ariana back home.

"Hey guys I am going to go pick up Ariana now so if you can finish setting everything up before we get here that would dope!" Ariana'a dad asked as he tried to be all gangster but the truth is that he was a cool dad and he was chill with me.

"That's alright with me Carl! " I admitted to Carl, Ariana's dad.

~Back Home~

I hear the ringing of the bell. I was excited. As I opened the door I spotted the light brown hair of Ariana and it looked beautiful as always.

My arms opened wide as I went up to Ariana and gave her a huge bear hug. I couldn't help but notice she didn't return the hug, it was kind of awkward between us.

I backed up as I let them in and Ariana opened her mouth.

"Who are you?" She blurted out.

I looked at Carl with a devastated face.

"What's going on?" Alex wonders.

"Guys, the doctor stated that in particular test she has taken in the lab today, she could barely remember anything. She has lost her memory. The only thing that she remembers is that I am her dad and her dreams and her mom is no longer with us." Carl stated as I notice his eyes starting to gleam with a tear at the edge of his eyelash about to depart.

"What do we do now?" I reply.

"I really don't know."

"Is anyone going to answer my question? Who are you guys?" Ariana reasked.

"He is Alex and he is your best friend," Carl continues," And he is Austin he is your... boyfriend."

I am shocked. Carl knows very well that Jacob is dating Ariana. I was confused but left everything as it is and I will just talk to him about it later.

Now that she doesn't remember anything where does that leaves us and Alex and her especially?

Alex's POV

As I walk in the living room, I notice everyone depressed. I was clueless.

"What's going on?" I ask.

Carla explains everything that the doctor had told him.

I was devastated. Ariana and I have been best friends since as long as I can remember. I can't believe that she has forgot about all the hard times we've been through together and all the memories we shared when we were little kids.

What happens now?
