B2: Vengeance Chapter 2: Somi

After waiting a long time we finally got into our rooms. Luckily we didn't have to share a room and boy I was glad. The last time I shared a room with Nayeon I couldn't sleep and I had bruises on my back from her kicking me so much.

I felt bad for whoever had to carry Jihyo's luggage though. Just then Nayeon and Jihyo walked into my room.

"What are you guys doing here?" I sighed.

"We were just checking to make sure you we-" We then heard a high pitch scream. I sighed and walked out to see Chaeyoung hugging a girl tightly. The girl was as pale as Nayeon and had long brown hair.

"Oh, I'm sorry if I screamed too loud. This is my best friend Somi." Chaeyoung said. Somi looked at us and waved. She looked younger than all of us.

"This is the lady who saved you?" The girl asked, Chaeyoung nodded.

"Thank you for saving Chaeng so much! I thought I would never see her again." Somi exclaimed.

"It was no biggie."

"I know but it's terrible not seeing your bestfriend for two years, I thought they killed her." Nayeon looked at me.

We went back to our rooms to get some rest before meeting with the trainers tomorrow.

I got ready and then we sat around a table. They all introduce theirselves.

Master Tikaani is the water bending trainer, also Chaeyoung who will help me.

Master Anju is the teacher for earth.

Master Samir is the teacher for air but no firebender teacher was here. They told me something about their power won't be in full potential so there were no point in having a teacher and I would have to self train myself which I though was bs.

I mean they have earth and air bending teachers here, why can't I have a fire bending teacher.

Me, Nayeon and Jihyo decided to explore a bit.

"Why does it have to be so cold here." Jihyo complained.

"It's the south pole, what do you expect?" A girl said. We all turned around to see a tanned skin girl with long black hair said.

"City people..." another muttered.

"That's rude guys. I'm sorry for my friends we're not used to foreigners. My name is Bora what's your?"

"I'm Jihyo and That's Jeongyeon and Nayeon."

"Jeongyeon? I heard that name before."

"I'm the avatar."

"The avatar?!" The other girls quickly looked at eachother while Bora stared at me in shock.

"It's nice meeting you, Avatar. I hope you enjoy your stay here." Bora says as she and her friends left.

We all looked at eachother before continuing to walk around.

Chaeyoung was at Somi's house and were sitting in the living room watching Evelyn play with some toys.

"I really did miss you and school wasn't the same without you." The brunette said as she handed Chaeyoung a cup of hot chocolate. The raven thanked her and took a sip.

"If you really did missed me why didn't you try to come and find me."

Somi was surprised by the response as she sit down her cup. "I did tr-"

"You didn't try hard enough." The brunette looked down and motioned for Chaeyoung to come outside. Both girls walked outside.

"Chaeyoung, please believe me when I say this, we did try to look for you. I missed a whole week of school just because I was looking for you. The authorities told me that you were dead and it wasn't worth searching. A year past and I lost hope." Tears started to run down Somi's face.

"Not once did I not thought of you. I never lost hope but sadly as the years pass by I started to believe what everyone said. I honestly thought you were dead. I'm sorry."

Chaeyoung stared at her friend, Emotionless.

"You've changed alot Chaeyoung, you don't feel bad that I'm crying. Are you not happy to be free?"

"After being in that hellhole for two years, I learned that emotions are for the weak and it won't get you anywhere." Somi eyes widened.

"What did they did to you? What happened to the sweetheart little girl that was known to be Chaeyoung. Who are you?"

"I am Chaeyoung! You don't know the torture I went through! Being beaten everyday! Being told that I'm worthless and Benders shouldn't exist.

Seeing my whole family being killed before my eyes. Watching other people die in front of me. Little kids, even babies!

Watching women getting raped in front of me. I've been through so much and where was you all this time!

Not with me obviously or not thinking of a way to save me." Chaeyoung shouted.

"Please calm down Chaeng, I'm sorry."

"Sorry?! Sorry?!?" Chaeyoung yelled.

"Yes! I-" Somi stopped and her eyes widen as she collapse to the ground, bending in weird positions.

"H-how?"

"You learn alot of things when you're stuck in a cell."

"T-that's i-illegal. It's n-not even a full moon."

"Does it look like I care? and if you tell anyone, I'll kill you." The raven said as Somi collapse to the ground in pain. Chaeyoung walked away leaving Somi on the ground.

The brunette got up moments later after Chaeyoung was out of sight and walked back inside her house to see her little sister looking at her.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah..." Somi says. The brunette ran her hand through her hair and sat down. She looked at a photo of her and Chaeyoung a day before Chaeyoung disappeared.

"What to do."
