B2: Vengeance Chapter 3: Secrets

Over the next few months, I managed to master earthbending alone. With the help of Jihyo and Master Anju. (Since they're both masters.) I managed to master it quickly and I could actually beat Jihyo in a fight now, with earth by itself. I still have no idea why she wanted to join us, since she already mastered earthbending.

I was okay with firebending. It was hard because there were no teachers and Yeri wasn't here to help me. So I practice all of the moves Yeri and Taeyeon help teach me. But I couldn't help have a feeling that they didn't like firebenders, or non benders overall.

Airbending is very easy but I know it would take time for me to master it. Nayeon was having the same problem as me, because we struggled to control it and that results in us being viciously blown away, which is why I have a bruise on my back.

Water bending.... oh waterbending. That is my weakest point, Master Tikaani kept saying I need to find fluidity or something like that. But it's hard. Chaeyoung said it's probably because I was more in the rash side and when she means rash she means violent. Chaeyoung had to relearn some skills that she lost from being in the prison for two years.

But I couldn't help but feel that there were something odd about her. Same with Somi. Somi have been acting weird for the last few months and I don't know why. She always look nervous. Especially around Chaeyoung and she looks like she wants to say something to me but she doesn't.

She isn't the same happy person I met when we first came here.

I have met some other people too. I met a tall and skinny girl name Sooyoung and another named Yuri or "black pearl". They says that they lived here since birth and even watched as there tribe got attacked. It must've been really scary for them and I also noticed the diversity here. I remember that my dad told me that at one point in time, all waterbenders had tanned skin and blue eyes, But now I was seeing alot of pale skin too but I see more tanned skin.

One day Somi grabbed me by the arm and pulled me towards a secured area. She looked around in a panicked state.

"Are you okay?!"

"No! Please listen to me quickly before she comes!" The brunette said quickly as she check to see if anyone was nearby.

"What is it?" Before Somi could say anything the brunette got cut off.

"Hello Somi, Hi hyung." Chaeyoung said as she walked over and put her arm around Somi's shoulders.

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing!" Somi shouted before running off.

"She's kinda weird..." I muttered and Chaeyoung nodded. We walked into the kitchen to see Master Tikaani teaching Nayeon how to make some soup.

"What is that?" Jihyo asks.

"Suasa um..." Nayeon tried to pronounce the word but failed. I raised my eyebrow at the girl.

"Suaasat." Chaeyoung said. "It's my favorite meal." Master Tikaani put some in a bowl for us to taste it.

"The meat taste good, very chewy." Jihyo says. I took a bite and nod in agreement. Chaeyoung and Master Tikaani was whispering to eachother while us three tasted the soup.

"It's good, what's it's made from?"

"Onions, Potatoes... Seal."

"Wait what?"

"It has Seal in it." Jihyo immediately spit out the meat and I put down the bowl quickly before running to the restroom. Nayeon looked like she was about to cry. I forgot to mention that she is an vegetarian.

"Poor seal." The raven muttered as she looked at the meat.

"City people." Tikaani mumbles.

"I'm telling you." Chaeyoung said.

We came back later and we got berries with our soup.

"I'm sorry for overreacting to the food, it was very rude of me." I said and bowed. I elbowed Jihyo and she apologized too. Nayeon apologize even though she didn't over react and requested her soup to have no meat in it. Jihyo also requested the same just because she couldn't believe it was seal.

I didn't believe it either but the soup was still good anyways so I ate it as it is. Chaeyoung and Tikaani watched me in shock as I finished off the soup and the berries quickly.

"What?"

They both went back to eating. I grabbed the bowls and helped with the dishes.

The next morning we heard a report about the fire nation getting attacked by the other 3 nations from Councilman Park. I couldn't believe it when I looked at the pictures.

People were dead and the place look destroyed. I knew they were non benders because it look like they didn't put up a fight.

I looked at Jihyo and Nayeon and told them to meet me in my room. After they arrived I gave them the letter.

"We will need to go to the fire nation to see what's going on. Those are innocent people, innocent people getting attacked and killed by air, water and earthbenders. I don't know if this is related to what recently happened or it's the 100 year war with sozin's comet."

"If it was, wouldn't the waterbenders only attack."

"They probably thought they were too weak so they had to get allies."

"True. But I think we're not ready y-"

"Having a meeting without me Hyung?" Chaeyoung says as she stood by the door. Me and Nayeon looked at eachother. I showed the picture to Chaeyoung.

"Do you know why all three nations attacking the fire nation for?"

"No, I sadly do not. Poor people." Chaeyoung said as she walked away.

"She didn't even feel bad for them."

"There's something off with her, like she have a secret or Something."

"Somi told me she wasn't like this, she was a very happy and cheerful person, I think after being kidnapped for two years her personality is gone.

Even though I was there for almost two weeks. I started to loose hope quickly and I was slowly going insane. I started to talk to myself even to the rat..." Nayeon said.

"I just hope that whatever she's keeping to herself isn't that bad." I mumbled.
