After about ten minutes I realized that Jake had asked me if he go to the pool today so I texted Aden to let him know.

J wanted to go to the pool today. Tell him to take his phone and call you when he’s ready to come home. Do NOT take any of the other kids!!!

Alright, I’ll take him when it opens. Love you, drive safe.

We drove the rest of the way to Sioux Falls with only the radio playing. When we did finally get to Sioux Falls we went straight to the Empire Mall to see what they had there for dresses and because we wanted food and we all wanted something different.

Ali parked the car and we all went inside. When we got inside it was very loud and it smelled really good! I went to Subway, Ali went to Burger King, Britt went to Dairy Queen, and Jen went to Charlie’s. We all found a table and sat down to eat.

As I was starting to eat my sandwich I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out and I had a text from Jake

When can I go to the pool?

Aden said he’d drop you off once it opened. It doesn’t open for another hour and a half. Be patient!

Oh… Sorry. I’m just anxious…

It’s alright Bozo. I’ll be home at like 10:00 tonight so you’ll have to text Aden to come and get you too, okay?

Alrighty, I’ll see you later.

Oh yea! And you, me, Nick, and the other kids are going school supply shopping tomorrow at noon so get to bed early tonight please!

I put my phone back into my pocket and started eating again.

“What was that about?” Ali asked me.

“Jake’s been wanting to go to the pool so he texted me asked me when he was going to go. I just told him to talk to Aden,” I said simply.

“Oh, okay,” she replied.

We all finished eating and started walking around the mall to try and find a good dress store. We went into a cute looking store and headed for the dresses that we saw. When we got to the dresses we found three different styles of dresses in the soft purple that I wanted.

“You guys go try those on!” I said to my friends.

“I wanna try this one on!” Ali said as she snagged it off the rack and took it into the dressing room with her.

“I’ll try this one!” Britt said as she went in the dressing room next to Ali with her pick.

“I guess I’ll try this one,” Jen said as she took the last dress with her into a stall next to Britt.

Ali was the first to come out of the dressing room. The dress she decided to try on was a dress that was cut off just above the knee, with a lace “belt” under the breasts and attached to the lace was a purple flower that almost looked like a rose.

“I love this one!” Ali exclaimed.

“Me too! It fits you perfectly!” I told her. “Turn around so I can see the back too.”

“Okay,” Ali said as she turned around.

The back of the dress was just plain but I still really liked how it looked on her.

“Alright, what do you think?!” Brittney exclaimed as she came out of the dressing room in her pick.

Britt’s pick was a dress that was cut off at about mid thigh. This dress had a V-neck with purple jewels lining the neck and a lace “belt” under the breasts and attached to this “belt” was a bow. It fit her personality COMPLETELY.
