“I don’t like it,” Ali said right away. “It’s not you.”
“I like it, I just don’t think it’s you either,” Britt said.
“I agree,” Jen chimed in.
“Alright, let’s try another one,” McKenzie said.
We walked back into the room and I tried on another dress.
“Okay, this one is a Chantel original. It’s white, strapless, and the ball gown style that you wanted. It’s got really pretty beading across the top of it and it really flatters your waist,” McKenzie said.
“Oh. My. God. This is it. Let’s go show them!” I exclaimed.
We walked back out to where the girls were sitting and I stepped up on the thing again and I heard each and every one of them take in a sharp breath and it was silent.
“What do you guys think?” I asked nervously.
“That’s it hun!” Jen said.
“I love it!” Brittney added.
“You look GORGEOUS! That’s it hun!!” Ali chimed in.
“So, Jessica, is this your dress?” McKenzie asked me.
“Yes,” I said simply.
We payed for the dress and left with it. We walked back out to the car and I suggested, “Why don’t we go back to the mall and just have a girls day?”
“That’s sounds awesome! I need a new pair of shoes,” Jen said.
“Let’s go,” Ali said. And with that we were off and back to the mall.
We went back to the mall and split up, Ali went to Deb’s, Britt went to Aeropostle, and me and Jen went to Journey’s. Jen and I tried on a whole bunch of shoes and I found a pair of Osiris’s that were really cute, and Jen found a pair of DC’s that she really liked. We payed for our shoes and went to find Britt and Ali.
We’re by the food court. If you’re done, meet us here.
“Britt and Ali are at the food court. Are you done?” I asked Jen.
“Yea, let’s go,” she replied.
We walked back to the food court to meet the other girls.
“So, what are we doing next?” Britt asked.
“Well, Paranormal Activity 3 is playing… Anyone wanna go see that?” Ali asked.
“Hell yes!” we all said at once.
“Alright! Let’s go!” Ali said.
We all grabbed our bags and walked back out to the car. We got to the car, put our stuff in the back, and took off for the movie theater. We got to the movie theater and walked in to buy our tickets for the movie.
“Hi, we need four tickets to Paranormal Activity 3,” I told the person.
“How old are you?” he asked.
“We’re all 17,” I said.
“Alright,” he said as he handed me the tickets and directed us to the right place.
We walked into the movie theater and sat in the fourth row and got comfy and waited for the movie to start.
