Skylar's POV
I looked down at my hard to see fur starting to pop out if me. Before anyone could notice me I ran out into the forest. I had just reached a clearing when the pain became unbearable. I started to scream in agony but the screams soon turned into howls. I clamped my jaw shut not wanting any near by rogues to hear me. I let out a whimper when another bone popped into place, but as soon as it came it stopped. I didn't dare open my eyes until I felt the wind against my fur. WAIT FUR!?!?!? I looked down and barked in happiness. I have a wolf. Wait till I show father... I was cut off by a voice in my head. "you can't show anyone" I yelped in surprise who are you I heard a chuckle "I am the moon goddess. also I am your wolf" I have a wolf. And not just any wolf but the moon goddess. I was radiating power and for the fist time since my mom died i felt proud. I walked over to the lake in the center of the meadow. I looked down into my reflection. One word.... Stunning. My wolf was pure golden. every piece of fur seemed to shimmer in the sun. My eyes were the same as my human form, a bright sky blue. I was about to howl in pleasure when a voice stopped me, "Skylar where are you!!! ". Ohh no it's my dad... and he sounds furious.
