Dinner with the person I used to know

I had one of those weird blinddates my friend kinda forced me to do it. I had dressed up nicely in a black suit and with a tie that had many different blue colors in it. I looked at myself as I was standing in front of an mirror "I hope this is good enough for a restaurant " I sighed grabbing my money and my keys looking the door to my apartment. "This feels so weird I don't even know who that person is I don't even know the gender" I said quietly heading towards the restaurant. As I entered it I told the woman what my name was. She then led me to the table that my blinddate has specially reserved. I sat at the chair that was closer to the huge window. It was an German restaurant which was pretty unusual in Japan. After six minutes the guy came that wanted to originally meet me. I looked at him very curious and I seemed to be a bit overdressed for this restaurant "Wow you sure come early" "No I just don't live that far from this place" "Oh okay well I hope you like German food" we ordered the same food and it really was delicious it was called 'schnitzel with a potato salad and some cucumber pieces' as we both finished I looked at him "Thank you for bringing me here it was really nice" I smiled a little "No problem it was nice to be out with someone again" he stood up "If you excuse me I have to go to the bathroom" "Uh sure just go" he went there. I looked at my phone in that time he was for four minutes away and as he came back dessert was brought to our table. I had a strawberry cake he just had a dark coffee. After that we paid and went out of the restaurant "Well maybe we can do this again" he said "Maybe.." I mumbled as I went back home "Wait can I have your number?" I looked at him taking a pen out that I had in my pocket writing my number on his hand after that I went home. I could feel how he watched me until he couldn't see me anymore.
