1. Stay realistic!
2. Make it your OWN. Don't copy others!
3. If it's cannon, make sure it fits.
4. Create an interesting backstory!
5. Take your time!
6. Make sure to pick a few flaws, we don't need more perfect characters!
7. Experiment with your cats. Make toms, she-cats, kits, apprentices, anything! Don't stick with one gender or rank throughout all your ocs!
8. Don't be pressured into making your character like others, so it "fits in."
9. Let your character relate to you in some way, it makes the backstory and personality easier to create!
10. Have fun with it!
