First off, no there are no limits to what your cat can look like, I'm not telling you that a pink cat with rainbow eyes isn't an oc. I'm just saying that realistic is the way to go. There are certain genes are line up. Like:White cats are the most likely to have blue eyes. I'm not too fond of genetics and genes but I do know a few things.
