Chapter 3

*Cate POV*

I sat on the couch with Mads and Meg at my side. They each handed me tissues as I sob and keep replaying what happened

*Flashback*

"Sam calm down." I say. He was blowing up at me because I broke his camera he uses on accident.

"HOW CAN I?! THANKS TO YOU I HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING! NOT TO MENTION I LOST EVERY MEMORY I MADE WAS CAUGHT ON THAT CAMERA!!!" He screams.

It was an accident. I tried to apologize but it wasn't working. Then I hear

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!" "YOU ARE THE LAST THING I WANT TO BE SEEING RIGHT NOW!"

"Wait, Sam we c-" he cuts me off

"STOP IT!" "JUST LEAVE CATE"

I stand there in tears. I leave before he can say anything else. How could he? Sam is so sweet. What I saw in there wasn't Sam. It was a monster.

*end of flashback*

I sob and then my phone rings.

I pick up without looking at the I.D and say, "H-Hello?"

*Sams POV*

"H-Hello?" She picked up. I look over at everyone from o2l and they mouth,

"Talk to her!"

I start.

"Hey it's Sam, I know you probably hate me right now but you are worth more than any camera with memories." The only ones I truly care about are the ones with you" "yelling at you was the worst thing I have ever done and if you want to, do you wanna come buy a new camera with me?" "then we can head to Taco Bell afterward."

"Of course baby." She laughs that adorable laugh that's perfect in every way

"I-" she stops

You what? I smile knowing what she wants to say.
