Chapter 9

*Connors POV*

She looked at me and she was about to cry.

"Connor... what are you doing here?"

"You know what I am gonna go....." Said her friend who I am pretty sure is Meg

Once she leaves,I smile and say "Sam told me where your apartment was..."

"So?!" "I thought you wouldn't bother to come find me!" She screamed

All I felt was pure guilt.

"I found out you were with Sam and I decided to talk to him."

"Seriously?!" "what happened that made you change your mind?"

"That I missed my baby sister.." Cate and I were so close as kids. Then one day, I screwed up. BAD.

*flashback*

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME CONNOR?!"

"I TRUSTED YOU!"

It was midnight and we have been fighting since 9. I was the only one who knew she bought an apartment in California and that she was going to leave. I was supposed to drive her to the airport but being the stupid idiot I am, I updated my twitter saying that which went to Cate and I's other siblings and they told mom and dad.

They never loved Cate. She was the "mistake" child. No one in the family cared for her except for me. Cate was leaving to get away from everyone. No one really appreciated Cate here in Minnesota. So she decided to leave and join her friends from six fangirls down in California. I fully supported her but my parents hated everything youtube. They never saw what we did. Which is why the move would be prohibited if we told them.

"NOW HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO LEAVE THIS HELLHOLE?!"

"WE WILL FIND A WAY CATE! I MADE A MISTAKE"

"NO WE WONT!" "YOU KNOW WHAT? I AM GONNA LEAVE RIGHT NOW!"

"GREAT!" "NO ONE WILL MISS YOU!" "INCLUDING ME!" I scream instantly regretting what I said.

With tears in her eyes she jumped out the window and simply said, "goodbye connor."

It was until I came and met Sam that I would see her again.

*end of flashback*

"Cate... How about we start over?"

"Sure whatever." She smirks

I pull her in for a hug and I can feel the tears on my back and I smile. For the first time in a while I genuinely smile. Knowing that I finally get my little sister back.
