Brian takes her hand and grabs a candle before heading up the stairs to his bedroom. Once there, Brian sets the candle on a nightstand and pulls Nicole in to kiss her. She places her index finger up to his lips.

"Hold that thought; I'll be right back."

He nodded his head and watches her walk into the bathroom; closing the door. He sits on the bed, taking off his shoes and cufflinks. A moment later Nicole emerges from the bathroom and stands in the doorway. She removed her shoes and untied her hair for it to fall along her shoulders.

Brian motions for her to come towards him. She slowly makes her way; stopping when she reaches the space in between his legs. The room is dark but the candle gives off enough light to see one another. Brian looks into her big brown eyes. Love fills her gaze. He gently rubs his hand against her cheek before locking it into her hair. He stands and does the same with his other hand. Meeting her lips again. He drops his hands down to her lower back.

Brian lays her on the bed and continues to kiss and caress her. The passion grows between them by the second. Nicole tugs on his shirt and tries to unbutton it. He stands and removes his shirt. Her eyes fall to his chest and stomach. Perfection. He gets back to kissing her, making his way to her neck and shoulders. When he kisses and pulls down the strap of her dress, Nicole stops.

"What's wrong?" Asks Brian, pulling up from her.

"I can't do this."

"Why not? What's wrong baby?"

"It doesn't feel right. It feels like we're rushing."

Brian smiles. "I get what you mean. I feel it too."

They sit up and face each other. "I started because it felt like we needed to and I thought it's what you wanted." Adds Brian.

"I mean I do want you in that way but I want to work up to that. Especially since we are both believers. I don't want to hinder anything."

Brian smiles and places a kiss on her forehead.

"One of the many reasons why i love you."

"Thanks."

Brian stands and turns the lights on. Nicole bites her bottom lips at the sight of him. He changes into some sweats and t shirt.

"So what do you want to do? You have two hours left."

"How about a movie?"

"What movie?"

"Surprise me." She flashes a grand smile.

"I think I can do that. Popcorn?"

"Yes please. Oh do you have anything I can change into? I'm a little over dressed for relaxing."

He chuckles. "Of course. You know where everything is. Help yourself babe. I'll be right back."

"Ok.

Brian walks out the room and heads to the kitchen.

Nicole looks in his closet for something to wear. She puts on a university of Kentucky t shirt and basketball shorts. When she exits the bathroom, Brian is sitting on the bed waiting for her.

"That was fast."

He looks over and smiles brightly.

"That is officially my new favorite shirt. Damn you look good in it."

She smiles back and sits on the bed next to him, wrapping her arms around him.

"What movie did you decide on?"

"You'll see." He grabs the remote and presses play.

The intro begins and brings familiarity to Nicole. "The Mask?" She looks at him with bright eyes.

"Yes ma'am." He gives her a kiss on the forehead.

"This is officially the greatest birthday Ive ever had. Thank you ." She leans up and gives him a kiss.

"You're welcome baby. Like I said you deserve it and so much more." He kisses her again.

When the movie is over they are cuddled up under the covers; looking at each other.

"You are so beautiful."

"No you."

He moves some hair away from her face. "I love you Nicole."

"I love you too Brian."

He pulls her into him and slowly falls asleep holding each other.
