"Hey Nicole. Thanks for coming over."
Jessica steps to the side to let her inside the house.

"No problem. You know I'm never too busy to see you guys."

Nicole had come over to help Jessica with some recipes and update her on everything.

"So how's everything going? How are things with Brian?"

"Everything is good. Bri and I are good."

"Just good? How did the date go?"

"The date was great. He took me to my favorite restaurant then we relaxed the rest of the night at his place. He had candles and roses everywhere. It was perfect."

"Aww that's sweet." She smiles back. "So does this mean that you made your decision of staying with just him?"

"Sort of."

"What do you mean sort of?"

Suddenly Justin enters the room and catches Nicole's attention. "Hey Jus."

He turns around and smiles. "Hey Sis. How's it going? Did you enjoy your birthday?"

"Yeah it was good." She gave a small smile.

He stares at her for a moment as if thinking hard about something.

"Something's wrong. What happened?"

"What do you mean? Nothings wrong."

"Don't give me that Nicole. I'm your brother. I know when something is wrong. Spill it."

Nicole sighed heavily. "Fine. Brian knows around Aj and Joey."

"He does?! How?" Questioned Jessica.

"Know what about them?" Asked Justin with a confused expression on his face.

Nicole gave Jessica a look of distress and frustration.

"Aj, joey and Brian all told Nicole how they feel about her on the same day. Her birthday."

"Are you serious? All at the same time? How did this happen?"

Nicole spent the next 10 minutes explaining everything from the very beginning; hoping to reach a final decision.

"Ok so let me get this right; you love Brian and he loves you but you still want to see what happens between Aj and Joey while being openly involved with Brian while he is okay with you seeing the other two."

Nicole sighed and nodded her head.

"What in the hell is going through that head of yours? Why would you put yourself through that much torment? "

Nicole hung her head to avoid eye contact. She knew he was about to give her an ear full.

"Why would you make your love life harder than it needs to be? You have already gone through a lot with the guys you have dealt with before. You were broken for months from the last guy and here you are now risking happiness with the one you have always wanted to be fair to others that you won't even end up with. That makes no sense to me at all." He crosses his arms across his chest waiting for her to respond.

Before she could even say anything her phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey what's up?"

"Yeah that's fine."

"Ok. Later."

She hangs up and grabs her purse off the counter.

"I have to go. I'll talk to you guys later." She walks out the house without saying another word.

"Nicole wait!" Yells Jessica. The door slams.

Jessica scowls at Justin and punches him in the arm.

"What?! You wanted me to sugarcoat this and not tell her the truth? I did exactly what I was supposed to do. Now it's on her to figure out."

She shakes her head. "True but not like that."

She leaves the room and proceeds to their bedroom. Slamming the door behind her.

"She will thank me for this one day." He says to himself.

Nicole drives off to avoid a messy fight with Justin. Sometimes the Aquarius in him really gets on her nerves. Luckily, Brian called as a way to get out of there.
She pulls up to the sight of Brian, Baylee and Jordan taking pillows and blankets to Brian's truck.

"Hey guys. What's going on?" Asked Nicole as she gets out the car.

"Hey Mom." Answers Jj as he runs over to give her a hug. She kisses his head.

"Dad is taking us to the drive-in movie." Chirps Baylee, squeezing Nicole tightly.

"Okay boys go get whatever else you want to take so we can go get food and head over there." Instructs Brian, as they run back into the house.

He wraps his arms around her and gives her a tender kiss.

"How was it at Justin's?"

She wraps her arms around his neck and lets out a sigh. "It was okay."

"Why just okay?"

"Justin found out about us. And everything else."

"Oh. I'm guessing he didn't approve?"

"Not at all. He doesn't see why I'm wasting my time them when clearly who I want is you."

"Did you explain why?"

"I couldn't. When I was about to, you called me. Plus I didn't want to get in a fight with him because I knew it was coming."

"Well baby just take this time to relax. You both need time to cool off." He kisses her forehead. "Do you want to come with us?"

"No it's okay. You go have a good time with the boys. I'll stay here."

"You sure? There's always room for you to join us. You know they would-I mean we would love to have you with us." He smiles brightly, giving her a tight squeeze.

"I'm sure. Im going to catch up on some work and take a relaxing bath. Have fun." She kisses his cheek softly before Baylee and Jordan come running back outside.

"We're ready! Let's go Dad!"

"Come on Uncle Brian. We have to get a good spot."

Nicole and Brian look over at them and share a chuckle.

"I guess that's my queue." He hugs her once more before breaking the embrace to walk to the truck.

She waves to them. "Have fun."

"We will. Bye mom!"

"Bye aunt Nicole!"

"See later Honey Bee." Included Brian as he pulls out into the street and drives away.

Nicole returns to the house. She proceeds to the bathroom and begins to draw a bath. As the tub fills up with bubbles and perfect temperature water, her phone rings.

Hey baby girl. I have a surprise for you. Be ready in an hour. XO
