That following morning, Nicole wakes up in the same spot on the couch. She rubs her eyes and checks her phone for the time, 7:20. She sees that she has a few text messages.

Brian

Made it home safe. Have a good nights rest. Will call you in the morning.

Sorry I left last night. Didn't want to wake you up. Have a wonderful day and happy birthday babe.

Joey

Good morning lovely. Would you like to join me this morning for breakfast? Happy birthday!

She fixes the couch and makes her way up stairs. When she opens the door to her room, her eyes catch at the things on her bed and against the wall. The gifts from her friends were all through out which made her heart warm. She starts at the ones against the wall. She opens it and almost screams. It were two paintings. One done by Michael and the other by one of her favorite artists; BKtheartist.

Next there were huge bags along the front of her bed. She picks one up and opens it. It was a Louis Vuitton purse from Lance. The next one was a pair of Jimmy Choos from Jessica and Justin. Nick and Lauren got her a framed collage of photos. Joey and Jc got her records for her collection. Aj bought her a rose necklace with a matching bracelet.

Last but no least she looks at the display on her bed. There was two huge boxes and a medium sized bag sitting next to the bouquet of roses from Brian. She opens the bag first and pulls out two small boxes. One box held a pair of diamond and pearl drop earrings. The other had a single row diamond necklace. She moved on to the two boxes. She opens the top one first and pulls out the letter that's sitting on top of the tissue paper.

I took the liberty of getting you something that I hope you like. Please wear it tonight as I want to take you to dinner. Be ready at 7.

Brian

Excitement and anticipation rush through her body as she pulls back the paper. She lifts it up to expose a navy blue harness midi dress with a slit on the side. The box underneath held a pair of black jeweled heeled sandals.

She felt breathless. She couldn't believe what was happening. Aj had just professed his love for her several hours ago and now she was looking over the outfit she is wearing to go out with Brian that night. What more can come on this day Lord? She said to herself. Just then her phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Happy birthday Nicole. It's Joey."

"Hey Joey. Thank you and good morning."

"Good morning to you too. Did you happen to read my text I sent you earlier?"

"Yes I did. I'd love to join you for breakfast."

"Great. Meet me at Roscoe's at 9:30."

"Ok. See you then."

She takes a quick shower and gets dressed. While she's driving she gets a call.

"Hello?"

"Good morning honey bee. Happy birthday."

"Good morning Bri. Thank you.

"Did you get a chance to look at the gift I got you?"

Her cheeks turn hot.

"Yes I did. Thank you for everything. So 7 right?"

"Yes. I'll be picking you up. Can't wait to see you."

"Same here. I'm excited."

"Me too. I'll see you tonight. I'm at the gym right now."
