I woke up to find Neal gone. Sighing I got up to change. My door opened and his Dad came in.

"Did I do that?" he asked pointing to a bruise on my side. I hadn't even noticed it.

"I don't know. Probably, we fighting again today?" I asked.

"Only if you think you're ready to fight seriously, I won't hold back," he said.

"I'm ready. The sooner I learn the better the chance is of finding my Dad alive. It's already doubtful, but I have to try." He sighed and nodded.

We began to fight and I had to admit that he is strong. I held my own for a while, but he managed a well placed kick and I hit the floor. I swore then dodged by rolling and jumping to my feet. He chuckled and tried to trip me.  I jumped, flipped off his back and landed gracefully on my feet.

"Freaking cat," he growled. That's when he shifted and the huge wolf lunged at me.

'Can you hear me Skyler?' I met his wolf eyes and nodded. 'Good. This is your challenge. Once you beat me like this you are ready.' I nodded again.

We circled each other and then he lunged. I dodged by sliding under him. I realized too late that I could have made a blow to his underbelly. Spinning around I stood again.

'Quit dodging me and fight back.' I sighed and nodded. This time when he lunged I dodged, but swung my foot around connecting it with his rib cage. Whimpering he hit the ground and turned back. "Fucking hell, you're very strong," he growled as he stood with his hand on his ribs. Both of my brothers shared a surprised look. "Now can I go find Dad, Jaxon?" Both my brothers nodded still in shock. "Are you okay sir?" I asked Neal's dad. He nodded and waved me off. Neal checked on his dad. "I'm fine son, I'll heal. Check to make sure she's not hurt too badly."

"I'm fine sir I promise. We should make sure your ribs aren't broken though," I mumbled worriedly.

"Ehh they are, but I've had worse," he said reassuringly. Neal shrugged and came over to me.

"You okay? Dad hit you pretty hard," he said.

"I'm fine, just a bruise." Being my mate I could tell that he isn't listening to me and can feel my pain. He glanced around and then led me to my room. Once the door was locked he pulled me to him gently.

"Take off your shirt so I can take a look at your side," he mumbled.

"Is that such a good idea Neal?" I asked studying him closely. Would he be able to hold back? How strong will the urge to touch be? We are mates so can either of us hold back?

"I don't know, this whole situation is just as new to me as it is to you. If we can't handle it I will leave your room. I promise." I nodded and slid my shirt off carefully.

Neal and I both gasped at the same time. I had a large bruise on my chest, but an even bigger one on my side. He touched them gently. My eyes closed from both pain and pleasure. I then felt his lips on my neck. Sliding my hands into his hair I sighed and he pushed me onto the bed. There was a knock at my door and Neal swore. He got up and I (putting my shirt on) went to open my door. Jaxon stood in the hall and motioned for me to shut the door.

"You leave first thing in the morning, Sky. Here is you're fake ID and Birth certificate. Steven is taking care of the other stuff." I nodded. "Is Neal in your room still?" I nodded. "He's your mate isn't he?" I nodded again and felt my face heat up in embarrassment. He smiled sadly and kissed my head.

Neal didn't want me to leave so soon, but I had too and he knows that. I have to find Dad. There is the smallest chance he could still be alive. Even if he's not it will at least help us in knowing what happened.
