When I finally calmed myself down I went to find my siblings. They were all in Dad's office and I cleared my throat. They all looked up at me and nodded.
"Sorry for freaking out on you guys. What is the plan? I want to help any way I can."
"Sis. this is too dangerous you can't help. Not this time. You're only human we can't risk you getting hurt or worse killed."
"That's the point I am human. I can easily get into the hunters' base. I may even be able to get some information about them."
They all shared a look and told me they'll think about it. For now they asked me to make lunch. Grumbling, I left to the kitchen. It's a good plan I don't see why he has to think it over thoroughly. Why am I always the one excluded from these meetings.
"Because you are our little sister and we don't want anything happening to you," Steven said from the doorway of the kitchen.
"I know that much Steven thanks," I sighed as I started to make sandwiches for lunch.
"There is no reason-" he began, but I cut him off.
"There is a reason Stev. The reason is because you guys don't think I can handle this. You think less of me because I am a human and right now being human just might save our Dad's life," I said.
"It's a great plan Sky, but I just don't feel comfortable with sending you in there. We can find one of our human colleagues in there but it's too dangerous for you. You're our family too and I know for a fact Dad wouldn't let you do something like this so I won't either."
"Whether or not you approve of me doing it or not I'm still going to do it."
"Sky don't ..."
"Brother, we think it's a good idea. Plus it's obvious she will do it on her own anyway," Jaxon said from the door way."But you are going through some training before I send you out there," he said sternly.
"But if we waist time training-" I began, getting cut off.
"I am not sending you in there without some kind on training Sky! I don't want your death plus father's on my conscience!" There was so much anger in his voice. I didn't say another word, all I did was nod my head. Fine.
Me and my brother have been training for weeks now. I think I can handle myself now, but my brother said that he had one more test for me before I could go. At those words I was a little scared because of the look on his face. It was devilish.
"Alright what is it?" I asked.
"You'll see," was all he would say.
A week has gone by since my father's kidnapping. I was becoming very angry with my family. All they were doing was sitting around and not doing shit.
"That's it, I cant take this an more! As we are all sitting-" I began.
A knock on our front door brought me out of my yelling session. My brother Steven stood up from the couch and started to walk towards the door. When I heard my brother opened the door I could hear that he was talking to two people. Who was he talk too? Then a very tall man and a young man came walking into the living room.
"Who are these people?" I asked.
"Since you think you are so ready to fight someone besides me. This will be your opponent, " Jaxon said.
I didnt know which person my brother was pointing too. If he was pointing to the young man then this was going to be a peace of cake. But if my brother has me going against the every tall man then I'm going to have somewhat of a problem.
