Trust is like an eraser it gets smaller and smaller after every mistake

The next morning Hayley woke up to alot of yelling and she groaned before stepping out of the tent grabbing onto Finn who was about to pass by her

"what's going on?" She asked rubbing her eyes

"Part of the ship crashed last night Bellamy is sending a group to go check it out. Are you coming?" He asked but Hayley could tell by the look on his face that he didn't want her to come along

"I'll probably stay and help Monty" She said and Finn nodded before walking away with the group

Hayley watched them leave furrowing her eyebrows as they all looked pretty upset Raven more then the others

She shrugged it off before going to look for Monty who she found next to the wall watching the group leave

"Hey Monty what're you doing?" Hayley asked sitting in front of him

"Hey, just watching them leave." Monty sighed looking through his little hole.

"Don't have anything to do?" she asked and Monty shook his head

"Not really my job was to communicate with the ship and i've finished that" Monty said and Hayley nodded before scooting so she was sitting between his legs

Monty kissed her head before wrapping his arms tightly around her holding her safely in his arms

The pair stayed like that for almost the whole day Monty holding her as they talked and laughed, some times talking to the others

As night time finally came Monty and Hayley were still talking and laughing when Octavia came up trying to look through the little hole Monty was using

"Hey, no sign of your brother or the others yet" Monty said but it seemed Octavia only barely heard what he said

"I-I don't care" She said looking past the pair to see outside the wall before slightly smiling and turning around when she heard someone say Jaspers name

"Jasper tell us again" A girl said

"I would've been terrified" another girl said

"Fears only a problem if you let it stop you right?" Jasper said smiling sort of smugly making Octavia roll her eyes before turning back to her friends

"That's not even his line, Finn said that" She said and Hayley and Monty turned there attention to Jasper who was repeating his story just making it more dramatic

"Pure animal instinct?" Hayley laughed turning to Octavia who leaned closer to them

"He was panicking" Hayley said seeing as she was there with him when it happened

"Ok this has to stop" Octavia said as the story dragged on. She went to take a step forward when Monty grabbed her arm

"C'mon let us have this" Monty said and Octavia looked at him confused

"Us?" She asked while Hayley leaned on Monty causing him to wrap an arm around her waist

"Look at him, boys a folk hero. They even gave us a bigger tent" Monty said happily

"Lucky" Hayley mumbled making Monty chuckle before they heard movement outside the wall.

The guards grabbed there guns waiting to hear something when they did they shot out of fear thinking it was a grounder
