When Hayley woke the next morning it was absolute chaos. So much had happened when she was sick and when she was asleep that she had no idea what anyone was talking about.

"Hayley" said girl looked towards the voice that called out to her and smiled softly when she saw her brother. Her smile, however, dimmed when she saw his frown.

"What's been going on Finn?" Hayley watched as her brother scratched the back of his neck before motioning her out.

"We need to talk" the way he said it caused her heart to sink. With a quiet okay she followed him to a log away from the rest of camp. "I haven't been really keeping you in the loop and I'm sorry for that but I just want you to be safe."

"Finn I get it but please just tell me what's happening." Hayley said with a sigh and he nodded.

"Okay, Uh while you were sick Raven blew up the bridge that helped the grounders cross. So there's a war. Grounders are coming and we need soldiers." Finn explained to his wide eyed sister.

"What are you trying to say?" She asked as she looked around at everybody working and how the guard was higher then usual.

"We need you Hayley. I know you and I know you can fight" what he was saying caused a smirk to cross her face.

"So what you're saying is you're letting me fight?" She questioned not able to hide the excitement in her voice.

"Yes but please please be careful" he said and she nodded. She went to stand and leave when she noticed that he had something else he wanted to say.

"Finn something else happened didn't it?" She asked and he looked away from her towards Ravens tent. "Finn what happened?"

"Raven and I broke up" he finally said, looking away from her.

"Because of Clarke?" Hayley guessed which caused his head to shoot towards her with his eyes wide open. "I'm not stupid Finn. I see the way you look at her. And I know that look because it's the same one I give Monty"

"I'm sorry Hayley." Hayley gave her brother a confused look before grabbing his hand.

"Why are you apologizing to me? Even if you broke up doesn't change the fact that I love you and that she's still my best friend. You don't need to apologize okay?" Finn nodded his head before he wrapped his arms around you.

"I love you Hayley" he said softly as he tightened his grip slightly.

"I love you too Finn"

Hayley walked around the camp picking up more wood and supplies to hand off to others to help them build the wall bigger and better.

They were scared, she could see that much. But she didn't seem to know the intensity of the situation at the moment.

From what she's gathered people were still giving Murphy and Octavia the cold shoulder because people didnt like Murphy and because Octavia was in love with a grounder.
