Chapter 28: Play in the Beach

"Mori senpai, Honey knows that Kaoru likes Itsumi right? He knows that he's serious about her right?" Questioned Hikaru. Mori senpai let out a sigh and nodded his head.

"Even if he wanted to do something, he can't. Not after what happened that night." Mori senpai Answered.

"What do you mean, Mori senpai?" We all question while Kyoya senpai stopped typing.

"Well, that night at Itsumi's performance, Mitsukuni went to that important family meeting. That was when his parents announce his secret marriage with the Kanji Family. When they told him, he was furious at his parents. He told them he couldn't do that, he was already in love with someone that he wanted to marry. And that was Itsumi, that was the first time I've ever seen him so furious. However, if he didn't do what his parents had wish, something terrible could happen to Itsumi or him or even the host club. So of course he had to listen to his parents. Whether or not he had liked the idea, he had no other choice but to choose to marry her. So he made the decision, and that's to marry Shizuka Kanji to protect everyone he loved, especially Itsumi." Mori senpai Answered.

Itsumi's POV

"Wait, Kaoru! I just remembered I have to also help out at the bakery since my mom is on a business trip." I answered remembering.

"Don't worry, I have that cover." he answered with a wink.

"Are you sure? I have a feeling that's a little too much, Kaoru." I answered a little unsure.

"It's no problem, and besides they work for me so nothing will happen to the bakery, I promise." he said with a convincing smile. I let out a sigh in defeat and smiled at him.

"Okay, I guess that's okay." I muttered as we sat in the car.

"By the way, I was wondering. Why are you doing this for me?" I questioned him.

"To help you heal." He answered as if it was obvious.

"Aw, that's sweet of you, Koaru." I smiled at him.

"Not as sweet as what we're doing today!" He smiled childishly.

"And what's that?" I Questioned.

>> time skip <<

"The beach?" I questioned him.

"Yes, the bench it's almost summer time! Plus, it's relaxing so come on, lets go!!" he cheered as we grabbed onto my hands and we ran to the open sea with the sand between our toes. The smell of the open salty sea. Koaru let go of my hands and put his feet into the warm.

"It's so cold, haha! You have to come in!!" he said with a cheeky smiled on his face. I gave in and joined him, the little waves touched my feet sending cold shivers down my back. 

"Doesn't it feel nice?" he smile as his white collar shirt was getting wet, exposing some bare skin.

"It does, it's also kinda of calming and soothing." I answered with a smiled on my face. *splash* I felt the cold sensation running all over my body now.

"Kaoru, you are so going to get it!!" I shouted at them as we both continue to splash each other. 

"It's so cold!!" I exclaimed as we both laughed at one another splashing each other. We played and played in the water like little kids how were finally being free. Like a bird who was always trapped in a cage, but is now set free to fly through the skies.

>> few minutes later <<

"Thanks Kaoru, for bring me here." I thank him as we both landed on the said.

"No problem, I hope you're feeling a lot better than you were before." he answered.

"I am feeling a little bit better, thank you again for letting me feel a little free." I answered sitting up looking at the sea and the clear blue sky that surround it. He let out a laugh and ruffed my hair.

"Hey! You're going to mess up my hair!!" I exclaimed laughing at his action.

"What are you talking about it's already messy with sand on it!" he exclaimed laughing at me. 

"Oh whatever, you have sand in your hair too!" I laughed ruffling his hair as well.

"Hey Kaoru, before you dropped me off, can I check the bakery to make sure they locked up correctly?" I questioned him. 

"Of course." He answered as we got into his limo. 

*20 mins later*

"Wow, your workers are no joke." I answered looking at how well they cooked and how they locked up the place.

"I mean what can I say? You just need the right workers for that." he exclaimed smiling. I shake my head at him and we walked back into the car heading back home.

"We should really go to the beach again over the summer." I exclaimed in my wet clothes.

"We should! We never go enough." He giggled.

"Oh my gosh!! I just got an idea!!" I exclaimed with a huge grin on my face.

"And what's that?" he questioned.

"We should do a beach party or a concert on a beach!! Doesn't that sound fun?!" I answered imagining how cool it would be.

"That does sound fun, but how are you going to get the stage on the sand?" questioned Kaoru.

"I can asked Kyoya senpai, plus he could probably maybe some profit out of it." I answered with a sly smile on my face while Kaoru just nodded.

"Well, looks like this is my stop, thanks again for such a fun day, Kaoru!" I smiled happily as he walked me up to my door step.

"No problem, if you ever need anything just know that I'm always going to be here for you." He exclaimed with a smile on his face. But something about his smile is different and the way he looks at me. 

"Thanks, well goodnight Kaoru." I waved goodbye as I opened the door and closed it behind me. I let out a sigh, and walked up to my room. I step all my stuff on the desk and grabbed a towel. I walked over to the bathroom, stripping out of my wet cloths and placing them into the washer. I turned on the warmed to the right temperature and let out a sigh letting into. ' I don't understand... The way he looked at me today. He had so much guilt and sadness in his eyes. As if he was telling me not to go or else it'd break his heart. Ugh! I don't even know how to feel about this anymore. I like him, I really do. So much that I could die for him. But he clearly, doesn't like me, heck he has a finance..' I thought as I sunk into the warm bath with tears building up in my eyes. 'But it still hurts, I really don't know where or not what we had was real or not.'
