-Text Convo with Her Best Friend-
-End of text convo-
I hurt her in more than one way. I have trust issues, I know she's my best friend. I need to take my mind off of it. I got my shoes, I put them on and started walking to the park.
I sat at my favorite tree and closed my eyes.
"Well, well, well, where is your boyfriend?"
I opened my eyes and saw Jax."Jax, what are you doing here?"
"I decided to pay my girl a visit."
"I'm not your girl."
"Oh, right, what would happen if Dylan found out about your little secret."
~Dylan~
I was walking to the grocery store because exercise. I heard people argue.
"Oh, right, what would happen if Dylan found out about your secret?" Dylan? Me, Dylan, wait that voice seems familiar.
"You don't have the right to share anything about me! You don't own me or claim me or anything." It was Melody's voice.
"Well, you should have thought twice before becoming Dylan's girlfriend."
"It's none of your business, I can do as I please."
"What if Jackson found out Melody?"
"You wouldn't dare tell Jackson." I looked at Melody she was looking right at Jax.
"Leave my girlfriend alone!" I found myself walking as I said those words.
"Perfect timing, Dylan. Want to know why Melody is so hard to get through? Every single family member of hers is ignorant-"
All of a sudden Melody slapped Jax, and she then punched him. I grabbed her before she possibly kills the dude. Well, not like she would but still.
"Melody calm down!" I was honestly stunned by how strong she is. I had her turn and face me.
"You little, " All of a sudden someone punches Jax.
"Jackson?" I asked confused. Where does this guy even come from?
"No one threatens my sister and gets away with it. Jax, you're no longer my best friend. If I see you speak with her I swear I may kill you."
"Jackson, how did you know I was here?" At this point, I let go of Melody.
~Melody~
"Ana told me you weren't responding to her. She told me you got in a fight."
"Yeah, Dylan thanks for standing up for me. I really appreciate that." I hugged him. "Thanks for distracting him."
"Thanks, man for helping Melody out. Jax is out cold."
"Well we can't leave Jax here we have to get him home," Dylan said while looking at Jax.
"I suppose, we have to they'd probably call the police or something. Good thing no one saw." I said a little bit too calmly.
We drove to Jax's place. His parents are always out of town. He has a maid, his parents are very wealthy. I suppose that's the reason why he acts this way. Despite his wealth, he goes to a public school to feel "normal".
I had to wait in the car because both Jackson and Dylan didn't want me to cause a scene.
"So how did it go?" I know the maid, her name is Kristina and she asks a lot and I mean of questions.
"Kristina asked a ton of questions, and we answered partially."
"Dylan, I'm sorry for dragging you into this."
"It's quite alright." He looked out the window, he looked troubled. "Just drop me off at the park. I was going to do something there."
"Are you sure?" I asked, and he seemed off.
"Positive." The car stopped, and Dylan got out of the car and started to walk.
My brother continued to drive.
"Melody, you need to stop going out on your own. Otherwise, Jax will try something like this again."
"I can't help it, Jackson. I'll try, but I can defend myself if it's needed."
We arrived home and didn't speak of what happened earlier today. We continued our day like nothing ever happened.
