~Melody~

I stayed away from Jackson for the rest of the weekend. Luckily he mainly had soccer practice this weekend and I spent the weekend with my younger siblings.  I'm tired of Jackson telling me what to do all the time. I would love to stay away from Jax but Jax would reveal my secret. We've kept being related a secret.

But now back to reality, school time.

"Melody, are you ready to go?" I heard Jackson say. When he asks me that question it means his taking me in his car. I was not ready to be alone with Jackson.

"Yeah." I didn't want to talk to Jackson but he was taking me to school for the first time. I guess we should resolve our issues here and now. The last thing I want is for our parents to get involved in problems.

I get in Jackson's car. Buckle up and scroll on my phone, like a typical teenager.

"Melody, can we talk about yesterday?"

"I would like to but not now." I knew if we talked now I would cry. The last thing I want to do is cry.

"Hm, okay." He seemed concerned.

Jackson would park the car and we would both hop out.

"Melody wait," I paused and turned around. My brother was right behind me and he hugged me. That was always his way of apologizing.

"See you later okay." Jackson would walk away, and I would turn to see my friends. Confused as to why Jackson hugged me.

"Melody!?!?!" I heard from both Ellie and Nancy.

"Hey, guys," I said trying to act as if nothing happened.

"Isn't that Jackson the popular soccer player? Is he your boyfriend?" Ellie would give a look to Nancy. I would shake my head.

"Jackson is my brother, you guys weren't supposed to find out yet." It was true Jackson didn't want us to associate. He had his circle and I had mine. He made me swear that I wouldn't tell anyone we were siblings.

"You have an older brother?" Nancy said flipping out.

"Yeah, anyways we got to get to class," I said trying to change the subject very quickly.

"Melody why didn't you tell us anything!?!" Ellie and Nancy both said at the same time.

"Because we both agreed to pretend that we don't know each other."

"Wait so the most popular soccer player in school is your brother?" Ellie asked.

"Yeah, he's pretty great I suppose." My parents care about him more, he's the golden boy. I on the other hand do my own thing.

Everyone knows about my younger siblings as they are a few years younger than me. I am always babysitting them as well. But with Jackson, we're a year apart. My parents let him do his sports while I get stuck babysitting.

*bell rings*

"We have to get to advisory!" Nancy said. We all hurried and got to class on time.

I got on the bus today and the first thing I notice is Ella not being there.

I thought things would've cooled off at home.

"Hey J." I sighed and took a seat across from her on the bus.

"Well, you seem disappointed. What is the reason that you're disappointed?" She looked at me with a smirk cause she already knew where this was going.
