She broke the surface of the water gasping for air. "How long has it been?" She swam over to the edge of the fountain, looking up at the person standing there.
"Two minutes", the replied sounding very impressed.
"Wow even I didn't know I could hold my breath underwater for that long!"
"Well it seems we're all full of surprises today." They smirked and quirked up an eyebrow.
"No kidding, I had no idea that you of all people could eat three large pizzas", she yelled out.
"Well I didn't either until you challenged me to do so."
"So I guess this is a day full of firsts right?"
"Yah, I guess so."
She jumped out of the fountain and wrapped a towel around herself. She had to hurry drying herself off before they got caught, for it was illegal to swim in a public fountain especially at midnight.
They soon pulled around in the car waiting for her to hop in so that they could go to their next strange destination. She opened the car door and laid her towel down on the seat and sat down.
"Um, Abby aren't you going to put on your seatbelt?"
"What? Oh right, sorry I almost forgot."
"Good god you scare me sometimes!"
"Sorry, Bobby. Ok so where to next?"
"I was thinking the beach since you're already wet." He slammed on the gas trying to get out of there before they got caught.
"Wait go back for just a second", she yelled out quite alarmed. He pulled around to the fountain once more and she hopped out of the care with a bottle in hand. She uncapped it and poured its contents into the fountain.
"What did you just do to that fountain?"
"Oh nothing much, just some bubble bath to spice things up a bit around here." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and made sure to put her seatbelt on. "Ok let's go", she belted out. He then stepped on the gas once more, jolting her forward.
