-Jack-
I hovered above a really tall tower where I thought no one would live in. I looked up and saw the moon, it was morning but the moon was visible, Manny seemed to he watching.
I looked around and saw that indeed it was the past. Manny must have placed me here for a reason.
I flew to the window of the tower and looked around, staff at hand.
"Who's there?!" A young female voice had shouted.
"She can see me?!" I shout out loud and she walked out of the shadows. She had bright green eyes and crazy long blond hair.
"Yes I can see you, I can hear you too." She said as she raised a frying pan. "Who are you and I'm not afraid to use this."
"Really, Blondie? A frying pan?" I snickered as I leaned onto my staff.
"Why are you here?"
"I don't know, maybe to do something. Manny put me here."
"Who?"
"Wow, you ask a lot of questions."
"Why wouldn't I? I mean you barged in my house for no-"
"Your house?" I stopped her as I leaped in her 'house' and looked around. "I never thought people would live here." I asked as she raised her frying pan in defense mode.
"Well I do, its nice, its got a nice view. Safely guarded."
"Safely guarded? Maybe because of the fact that its hidden and no one really goes here."
"Exactly." I heard the sadness in her voice and I thought of Manny, was I here to bring her out of this dump? Maybe, worth a shot.
"Wanna have some fun, Blondie?"
"Fun?"
"Yeah, I mean, don't you ever get out of this dump?"
"No, mother never lets me out, she said that the outside is a cruel place and people would try to kidnap me for my hair. And this is not a dump for your information."
"Well, you hit the nail on the cruel world part, but that's why fun is here. To make it even."
There was silence, maybe my words struck her, I got bored and spoke up.
"So, what's with the crazy long hair and the overly protective mom?"
"My hair is magical, it glows when I sing, and its got healing properties too, mother said that people would do anything to get eternal youth."
"Oh, that's why she's crazy serious about protecting you. Still, you need to get some sunlight. And as for a winter person, I don't say that often."
She didn't answer, maybe I shouldn't try, ha! Now where's the rebellion in that!?
"Do you know what these are?"
Blondie asked me as she opened a curtain, I didn't even see her move. I looked at what seemed to be-
"Lanterns?"
"Lanterns... I knew they weren't stars." She jumped down as she used her hair as a vine. Wow, strong hair. "Would you help me see these... 'lanterns'? I'd do anything you want in return."
He didn't need help to find his sister, he could just fly around and maybe ask- oh wait, people can't see him, its really strange that this one can, worth a shot.
"Sure thing, Blondie. In return you can help me find my sister."
"Deal, you have a sister?"
"Long story." I walk to the window and back at her. "Lets get moving." I jumped out the window and I hear her gasp as she ran to the window to see me flying.
