The liveshow

Dan knew that it would come. The phandom had been going crazy about it for the past few weeks on social media. Still, he started the live show as usual, answered some questions from the chat and talked about some things he'd planned.
He had been talking about Phil's newest houseplant; describing its position in the house, how it was bought and even let his fans name it, anything to keep them distracted.
Dan fell quiet and was looking through the special messages for something else to talk about, he was humming quietly to himself but stopped abruptly when he saw the comment:

Tell is about the weekend in March!'
Dan planned on ignoring the message but it had already came up on the chat, re surfacing everyone's need to hear about the dreaded topic. More comments started coming in and Dan knew, he had to do it now.

Dan's POV

My heart stopped. I knew it was coming. I knew it would surface eventually but despite all of this nothing could prepare myself for the slap of reality when I realised that I had to do it. I had no choice.

"Oh, right."
I forced a laugh in attempt break the awkward atmosphere that my reading the comment had created.
"It seems that my attempts to avoid this subject have failed"
I laugh again. I'm stalling; trying to think of what to say next. How do I describe the most monumental weekend of my life since that week in October?
I rested my head on my hand and continued;
"As you all seem to be very aware of, 5 months ago I promised to tell you the story of 'the weekend in March'"
The chat exploded with excited phangirls anticipating the juicy story that they had all been dreaming of for months.
"So, today I'm going to tell you. Since, I guess, I have too"
There goes another nervous giggle. Oh god.

"Wait for it,"
I have to take the opportunity to excite them even more when I have the chance.
"I need to get Phil to tell this story with me."
"Ooooooo how exciting!" I said in a high pitched sarcastic tone, adding a laugh to the end to add to the comedy of the scene of events.
I waited for a few seconds and watched the chat explode with 'YAAAYYY PHIIILLL's and 'OMG!!!!'s. This made me laugh even more.
After the excitement had started to die down, by about 0.01 of a percent, I stood up and went to find Phil, leaving the comment section to conjure up idealistic ideas of what was to come.

It was late, 9:30pm to be exact, so the flat was dark. I walked down the stars and tripped over one of Phil's shoes, "fuck" I cursed. He was always leaving his things in the most inconvenient of places.
I could hear the distant whir of the Tv in the living room. I knew he'd be in there, he always is unless he's filming.
I walked in to find Phil lay on the sofa with his eyes fixed on the screen. He was watching an old episode of Yuri on Ice, he must be re watching it for about the twentieth time.
"Phil?" I whispered.
"Shit" He jumped slightly.
"God Dan you scared me" He started laughing and I did too.
"Well I need you to come and be in my live show" He looked at me quizzically.
"Why? I was in yours last week, we don't usually do them together that often"
I went and sat in front of him on the sofa, he sat up and I held his hands in my lap. They were soft and warm from being under a blanket for the past half hour.
"Do you remember my live show in March?" I asked.
"God Dan, that was ages ago? Which one?" He looked at me and smiled.
I looked him in the eye.
"The one where I mentioned the weekend" I raised my eyebrows when I said it, I could tell by the way his face dropped that he knew what I was talking about.
"Oh" he said flatly.
"Well, will you help me explain? I bet the suspense is killing them" I said, accompanied by yet another nervous laugh.
"I can't let you do it alone can I?" He replied sarcastically, with a laugh as equally nervous as mine.

AN // this is the first Phanfiction I've written so I apologise if it's bad. This is only the first chapter and I'm planning on writing these quite often since I'm on holiday from school and have a lot of free time.
