Airplane diary 2/4: HELSINKI --> WARSAW (Chopin)

Oh boyyy thank god I downloaded the app for Finnair cause my gate changed 3 times and I didn't notice any loudspeaker announcements about it ooooof.

So I didn't leave the airport (it's super fancy omg) but I definitely explored and it was definitely an airport in Finland oh boy.

I did go outside though we took a bus to the plane cause it's a small plane. The air is so nice here and it's so sunny but it's COLD!!!! I guess that's what you would expect of Helsinki.

Oo we're moving and I feel a lot better. This plane is a lot more talkative, I like it. I mean most of the conversations are in Polish but still! It's fun.

I'm having a much better time on this plane. I also have a window seat which is always good.

Bye Finland!! It's been real~~ I'm so ridiculously excited ooo we're moving.

Ah that August Nordic sunshine. So bright and unrelenting. How is it simultaneously so sunny and so cold?

FINLAND IS SO PRETTY!!!! so many pine trees!!!!!! Wow it's pretty I lucked out having the window seat leaving Finland.

I wish I spoke a language other than English. Like if I were fluent in Norwegian and I could just call someone up and have a convo and barely anyone would know what we're saying.

People don't seem to realize I'm American so far, they're surprised when I say I am. I think this is a good thing. And one day I will be a Lithuanian citizen.

All I've eaten today is one 1/2 granola bars ooops I feel like this will be a trend. I just didn't feel like exchanging for euros when I won't need them where I live or in Poland.

I like the pre-take off in smaller planes so much more than in large planes.

Wow so much Polish, it's such a distinct language. I'm gonna be so good at Polish after this you guys. Just you wait.

I can't find shampoo or conditioner at any of the duty free shops so I guess I'll have to just go to the supermarket.

Polish accents are so nice wow. I love the cadence.

Second layer of clouds is a-go and we're over the islands now. This is so cool.

Cloud level 3 and we're pretty stable now. They're cumulus clouds too I want to jump in them. Less clouds now lots of sea it's so pretty.

Oooo islands! Large ones? Neat. I love that I can see this. Woah is that Estonia already? No it can't be. It might be. Holy crap. Yeah I think it's Estonia. Wow. One day I'll actually go there.

Mm back over the sea and clouds. This might mean we're skipping Latvia + Lithuania. I'll have to judge the turns. Jesus it's chilly.

Oo jet lag is finally starting to affect me alright.

Honestly..... the way I'm gonna make it through this trip is the same way I make it through anything OOO BIG LAKE no but I tend to live my the motto "fake it till you make it" like if I just tell myself this is easy and I could do it in my sleep then I will find it easier.

WOW Poland is FLAT I mean I knew this but damn. Oo this landing is scarier than the other with the window seat and small plan.

Aw it's all so is so cute from up here! Wow lots of farms that's so cool. Again I knew but I didn't Know. Ooo Warsaw looks awesome this is exciting and so scary. Being alone here is not what I was expecting ya know. But this will be cool. I've got this. Poland is so cool, I love this. I can figure this out. Make it work!
