Uma was walking around the Isle in search of Gil. He started calling her 'the nickname that shall not be mentioned,' but he ran away before she could hurt him. Now she ans Harry are looking for him. Harry is looking for him somewhere else. 

She walked past an alleyway, and heard something crying. She was about to go over and look, when she saw Gil.

"GIL!" Uma yelled and chased him, still thinking about whatever she heard crying.

The next day Uma walked over to the same alley as before. But when she got their, there was no one. No cat, dog, or child. Nothing. Though, there was a box. Curious, Uma decided to go over and look in it. 

She knelled down and looked in it, to find a small boy sleeping. 

"What the hell?" Uma thought. She looked around a little to see if anyone was near her. When she saw that no one was around, she picked up the small child in her arms.

 "Who would leave you here?" She wondered out loud. "I know the Isle is a bad place, but abandoning a child? That's a new low even for villains."

The boy looked around 5-6, but was very skinny to the point someone could mistake him for a 3 year old. Uma walked back to the ship and sneaked the boy into her room. 

"I really should've thought this through more." Uma mumbled as she realized she has no idea how to take care of a child. 

Suddenly the boy started to stir a little as his eyes opened. "W-who are you?"

Uma jumped, not realizing the boy was awake. "My name is Uma."

"Uma?" The boy asked. 

She nodded as the boy smiled. "Pretty name." He said. "I'm B/n." (Boy's name.)

Uma sat down in front of B/n. "So B/n, where are your parents?" She asked in a soft voice she didn't know she could use.

B/n thought for a moment. "My parents? I don't know really. The last thing I remember is them putting me in a box in the alley and them telling me to stay their, and that they would be back later."

Uma gulped, knowing what the parents of the boy intended to do. "And how long ago was that?"

The boy looked down. "Two months." He said as a tear went down his cheek.

Uma's heart, that she didn't even know she had anymore, broke at the sight of the poor, lost boy crying. Uma didn't really know what to do, so she just let her instincts take over as she scooped the boy in her arms and let him cry on her. 

"I-I've waited so l-long! Why d-don't they l-love me!? What did I-I do wrong?!" The boy yelled as he sobbed.

"Shh." Uma soothed. "You're okay now alright? I'll take care of you."

"Y-you will?" The boy sniffed as he looked up at her.

Uma smiled down at him and nodded. 

"Yay! Thank you!" B/n said and wrapped his arms around her neck. 

Uma stiffened at someone else's touch, even if it was only a kid's, but soon relaxed. 

As she hugged the boy she smiled again, knowing she had definitely made the right choice to keep the kid.
