You know my Friend

Who I introduced to another friend

Well they've become close friends

I mean something like a couple

Like girlfriend and boyfriend

Actually closer to Husband and Wife

I, guess when they met it was all love at 1st sight

Now that's something I just couldn't grasp, sorta

Trying to understand how two people meet

How emotions would interact in such a way

That I just couldn't comprehend

That's until I saw

This, Queen

This Melanated Beauty

This Creature

That weakens me

With words so hypnotizing

Like Hey, and Uh Huh....I mean,

I've never felt this way for someone, EVER

I mean let explain a little more

I remember seeing her at school

So Beauty So Amazing

I never found the words I usually found myself daydreaming

About going on numerous dates

Late Nite phones calls, til the sun comes up

Just laying about in our beds

Around half past two

Asking each other

"You sleepy...." "Naw, I mean I'm tired, but no asleep.."

I remember vividly, how my mind didn't hesitate

Thinking "She is the Woman I wanna Marry,"

Developed into

I found myself wishing and visualizing

Your lips would meet mine in a kiss

Slow... Sweet... Deep...

No words spoken yet speaks volumes

See, I'm at a loss for words to explain

How I would feel If we shared the last name

I know she catches me staring

And I hope this reaches her one day

Because when I look into her eyes

I now understand the concept of
