It was the day of the talent show Parker woke me up bright and early to shower get dressed and meet her downstairs to do my makeup. The picture about is of course me on that day years ago. So anyways it took us all about an hour to get ready and we headed to the school. As we pulled up all the kids running around a group of kids practicing on the song they wanted to perform and me I just walked to the gym in silence. I watched maybe for people perform before me and all but one group did good to my liking. "Up next Laqueshia" I heard them say and everybody began screaming my name pushing me but my body froze. I played it off well I thought I did. At that time I stood up looking for the mystery girl once mor with no luck in all honesty because I didn't wear glasses at the time. I walked to the center of the floor and I grabbed the mic. Everyone clapped and silence hit the room as I began to sing John legend All Of Me. I wanted to rock I wanted to move across the floor I wanted to smile because everyone was cheering me on but instead my hand was shaking my lips balled up and I was only moving side to side BARELY. I finished the song and I rushed the mic into the judges hand and rushed to my seat well I tried but everyone wanted a hug. I finally found my seat and watched the others perform. Everyone was done and they asked everyone to join on the floor.
