Everyone had did a good job I heard a few people who to me sounded better than I did. It was I believe four judges that Sat in front of us. Everything got serious when they began to talk. First place winner won 100 dollars so I prayed I was the one who had won that day. In my head I looked and thought to myself nah if you win 3rd place it's ok that's still fifty bucks your taking home. So the judge stood up and went down the line saying our names the person with the mor yells also determined part of the win. The boy who I knew had also sung a John legend song which I thought was better than the one I did. She got to him and was like and the winner is............................ Myron he smiled then she said in 3rd place. My heart dropped but that cheered me up knowing I still had a chance. So she went to a girl who had performed about her mother which was amazing. She won second and then the judge asked who did y'all think won first place. I heard a few people yelling my name and mor people yelling another name of a girl who really didn't do as good as I knew she could. "First Place Winner Is....... Laqueshia" I had won and I started crying. The people gathered me with hugs and it felt like I was told I was going to Hollywood. I gathered my hundred dollars and went on my way.
