Pain of the World

Sometimes I sit and wonder
What time the world
Will find its blunder.
Twisting roads,
Hiding stories,
still untold.
When will we unfold,
The secrets of this universe,
Seeking the second verse,
As if it were something
Worth begging for.
Just open
The goddamned door,
Reveal your demons
Your tormentors,
The unlovable heathen
You are.
The stars in the sky aligned,
In your mind
You envision a sign.
Something only you can see,
The world to conceive
The wrath only you held,
As you screamed and yelled.
Your lungs breaking,
Your heart aching,
The pain had consumed your mind.
You thought the world was kind,
But you were very mistaken,
This world left you cold,
And violently shaking,
Convulsing.
The taste of something revolting
The taste indecipherable,
Something that makes your stomach miserable.
Sour grapes,
Spoiled milk,
Oh for god's sake
You'll never know,
But with one last blow,
You say goodbye.
