Turning the Tides North

Chapter One

"Paarthurnax, what am I to do?" The wise old Dragon just pondered on her words, thinking of the best solution.

"Have I ever told that we are not alone?" Paarthurnax asked, she shook her head.

"There are other places than our own, Taazokan.. one of them being a place called Asguard.. and another called Earth."

"Please Zehman, just get to the point!" she said impatiently, calling him brother in his language, so he did.

"The one called Loki is a dangerous being, he must be stopped. But the only way he can is if you take him from Tamriel.. if you take him away from here, the people of Asguard or Earth will help. The way you go about this though. Is up to you". He looked to the sky as a beam of light hit the snowy ground just inches from Kronos, a silhouette of a man stood there. The light came away and she saw him. Long blonde hair, bright blue eyes and a handsome rugged face. His arms where strong and muscular and they matched his tall and broad shouldered frame. He wore a strange set of armour, the likes of which Kronos had never seen, and a flowing deep red cape hung from his shoulders.

"Ah.. Thor Odinson" Paarthurnax said, looking at the man, who looked back at him.

"Where is Loki, Creature?" he ordered. Authority was strong in his voice and this infuriated Kronos. Who was he to speak to Paarthurnax like he was a common skeever.

"How dare you say that Paarthurnax is just a meer creature! He could crush you in an instant if he wanted to! And pay respect to him for the fact that the rest of the dov and myself regard him as the strongest!" she shouted right into his face as she squared up to him.

"Stand down you pathetic human." he growled, he was irritated but she was pissed and that made her deadly.

"How dare you think of me as a human! Do you know who I am?!" she shouted.

"Kronos!" Paarthurnax said, his tone warning her to stop, but she ignored him.

"I don't know who you are and niether do I care." Thor said, not backing down and not killing her.

"I am Dragonborn you insolent fool! I have the power of the Thu'um and I can kill you with anything including my voice!" she shouted, but Thor just smiled.

"My father has told me about you and your kind... an impressive feat for defeating The Worm."

"Then you know to be careful with your words and your actions my brother." A new voice entered the conversation, one that the two knew too well for their own liking. They turned quickly towards him, their hands full with their weapons. Thor and his hammer Mjölnir and Kronos with her Dragonscale shield and Dragonbone sword, enchanted with fire and magic resist.

'Attack, kill, burn, freeze... you know you want to...' That voice drifted through her mind and she shuddered. It felt like an eternity from the last time she heard that voice in the back of her head. She pushed it to the back of her head and focused on the world.

"I didn't think you would follow me all the way to this..." Loki looked to his surroundings with disdain and a sneer settled on his face as he regarded Thor. "Realm. I'm not here to start a fight, Brother. I, unlike you, can control myself when it comes to starting fights and wars. But if you wish to avoid fighting me then it would be wise for Kronos to give me the Elder Scroll that I came for."

"A Elder Scroll?" Thor asked. As confusion swept across his face Kronos understood that he had no idea what the Elder Scrolls were.

"Like I said before Loki, I'm not letting you have any of them! I will be damned to the fiery depths of Oblivion before I give you one!" Kronos said.

"Them? How many of these Elder Scrolls do you have?!" Thor then asked.

"I'll explain later if you help me get him out of Tamriel! He's a danger to my home."

"He is a danger to everyone." Paarthurnax then said, stopping the arguing and bringing their attention to him as he perched on his world wall.

"What do you want Dragon?" Loki spat, causing a low growl to escape from Kronos' throat.

"I want you all to leave this realm." The Great Dragon's eyes narrowed as he mimicked Loki's earlier insult to Nirn, "That includes you Kronos." She just nodded in response.

"You are going to need all the help you can get Thor Odinson." Paarthurnax said as the world went black for the three of them.

Aww man Paarthurnax is the best, I could never kill him. Describing Thor was at first really hard but then my sister helped me with it and I love her for it. On Wattpad she's called Chaz1185, I think. She has written any books yet on here but she gives me too many ideas for me to handle and that's why I haven't published anything up yet but this. Kronos is actually my character from the game Skyrim and she is pretty god damn awesome character to write.
