Alduin flew above the battle, observing, watching as it all unfolded. He swooped down to land on Stark Tower, and his burden left.

"I'll see you soon Alduin, and don't kill anyone but the aliens." Kronos said before walking into Stark Tower.

"They are all aliens to us two Dovahkiin." He said before taking off and re-joining the battle.

Kronos walked into the Tower, thinking it strange and too metallic.

"Why hello there Kronos." She spun around to face Loki, her Dragonbone sword with fire and frost enchant and the shield Spellbreaker.

'Kill him, do it now! You can!' The Voice jeered and she kicked herself mentally for letting herself imagine the ways she could kill Loki.

"Why Loki?" She asked, prepared to take on anything. The tears brimming on the edge but she fought them down.

"Why the sudden taking to use my name?" He growled and her heart felt like it had pins slowly stabbing it.

"I was blind. You were called a monster. But you are not a monster. Why do you have to do this? Give me the real reason why Loki." She said, her voice strong and unwavering. She nearly pleaded. And he gladly didn't notice the pleading in her voice.

"Give me the reason why you are willing to kill me then." He spat back, thinking that her weapons were weak and pathetic. Only if she could tell him why she would never kill him.

"Because I don't want to die not seeing Tamreil again. And I want to die honourably so I can go to Sovngarde. And this place has no connections to the afterlife. So I am prepared to do anything to go home." She half lied and half told the truth, she just wanted him to stop all of this.

'She that's what she wants, She just wants to go home.'

Something inside Loki softened slightly to her words, he shoulders un-tensed and his eyes became less angered.

"You are not the only one Kronos." He said, turning around and looking at the view of New York below.

"Why don't you just stop this then and go home. It’s completely obvious that Thor doesn't want the throne and you're the only heir left!" She nearly shouted, lowering her weapon and shield but not sheathing them.

"The connection to my home and this realm is broken. So I can't." He replied, sadness heavy in his voice and that hurt her heart even more.

"Yes but the thing, the Tesseract, whatever in Oblivion it is, can be used to take you back. Can't it?" She asked, she grew more tired by the minute and opted to sit down on the stairs. He turned around to face her and just saw her with her head in her hands.

"You're that tired?" He asked.

"This place is more of a burden than having Lydia around. The magic’s here are weakening and I've nothing to keep me going. In a way. I hate this place." She mumbled. He sat down next to her and she took off her helmet and threw it to the other side of the room before putting her head back in her hands. He watched as the Dragonbone helmet skid across the floor. He looked back to her and her ebony hair hid her face as her head was resting on her knees as she hugged them close to her body.

Loki stood back up as soon as he noticed Tony walk in, having his armour deconstructed as he walked into his wrecked Tower.

"Hi Tony." Kronos says, standing up too and leaning against one of the walls as he walked in.

"Kronos?" He asked, confused on why she's there and why she hasn't done anything about Loki. She just shrugged in response, standing in the shadows.
