Chapter Ten

"How come you've survived?" Loki asked.

"Because the Scrolls are creations of Akatosh, and he gave me the Dragonblood and the title Dragonborn, it’s obvious that I'd survive... Also I might as well be classed as insane anyway, so that side effect wouldn't affect me." Her last comment confused him greatly, who would call themselves insane?

"Why would you call yourself insane?"

"Because of the things I've done... and.. Something else I won't talk about."

"Like what?"

Steve, Fury and Natasha watched with deep interest from the bridge, the conversation that Kronos and Loki was informative and quite amusing.

"I once killed myself to contact The Tongues in Sovngarde." They watched on the screen, Steve was taken back by her answer.

"How are you alive then?"

"I'm not, I'm a undead werewolf, and immortal.. your failed attempt of murder was fruitless, I found it amusing actually." She smiled smugly as he opened his eyes in slight shock, but he then raised an eyebrow, and beckoned her closer to the glass, she leaned forward, listening carefully, the words he said though couldn't be picked up though for Fury, Steve and Natasha to hear.

"You think that I won't make you fall, that I won't make you bend your knee to me." He said in a low voice, husky and seductive.

"I do. Because I'm stronger than you, I have the Nine and the Sixteen on my side." She replied, with an even more seductive half smile.

"Well you shouldn't, I will make you fall, no matter if you actually are immortal, I will find a way to kill you, I have an army." He said a little louder.

"Well I have a dragon." He was taken back immensely.

"What?!" He nearly yelled.

"Oh, I called on Kyne to help me, and she sent me the WorldEater... You had better stop telling yourself not to be scared Loki, because you really should be." She left at that to walk into to Steve again.

"By love of Mara..." She mumbled, slowly standing up with the help of Rodgers.

"Sorry Kronos." He said, his hand lingering longer than necessary on her arm.

"Steve. Can I have my arm back?" She asked.

'Kill him, do it! Kill him now!' The voice screamed, it hurt her but she would not show it or tell anyone about it. Not now. Not ever.

"Yeah, sorry..." He rubbed the back of his neck as a small blush crept onto his cheeks.

"Why are you down here anyway?" She then asked, patting down her armour.

"To get you seen as though you still don't know your way around the Helicarrier."

"I know, I'm no good at walking these halls." She admitted as she followed him back to the Bridge.

"So interrogations where good then?" Fury asked.

"You can say that again, scared him into not wanting a Kel." She said with a smug smile.

"Which means?" Natasha asked.

"It means, that there won't be a even more insane lunatic that is a 'God' running around using Akatosh knows what to destroy the Planet." She said, sitting down on one of the chairs with a sigh and resting her head on the table.

"Where all those things about you true though?" Fury asked, she nodded.

"Yes, except for the undead part. And immortality. But I did kill myself to get to the afterlife again."

"Again?" Natasha asked.

"I was supposedly told that there is a game which is literally about my life called Skyrim, so please hold all questions for when you've played it."

"Actually, that right there is evidence that you actually aren't from Skyrim and that you're just lying." Tony appeared from one of the doorways.

"Fine then. I'll prove it." Kronos stood up and thought for a few moments...

She took off her gauntlets and a small ball of light appeared in her hand which she cast at Tony. Resulting in it hovering above him.

"Ermm.  What is this?" He asked, pointing at the little orb that hovered above and started to annoy him.

"Magelight, a simple spell that creates a light source that sticks to anything and anyone for a minute." They watched as it died down.

"Is that enough or do you want me to prove the Dragonborn part as well?" she then asked, and then sick of waiting for an answer she parted her lips as Thor walked in.

"Fus!" she shouted at Thor and he swayed slightly and then shot daggers at her whilst she snickered behind her hand.

"Now that, is impressive." Tony then said, she grunted in reply, slowly walking out, feeling fatigued and nearly dead. When she got out of the bridge, she collapsed to the floor, leaning against it tiredly.

"Kronos?"

Steve.

Again.

"Are you just curious about who I am or what?" She asked slowly and sarcastically, taking his outstretched hand and pulling herself up, leaning against the wall.

"No, just wondering if you're ok, you looked really ill after whatever you did back there." He said, she just nodded, feeling really ill.

So, not being on Nirn makes Kronos feel weak when she uses magic or her Thu'um. That makes quite a lot of sense.
