Chapter 7. Gone

Kaitlyns p.o.v

It's the next morning and I wake up in Shawn's arms. I guess it wasn't a dream after all. I slip out of the covers and jump in the shower. While I'm in the shower I hear a load crash so I jump out.

"Shawn?" I cry out. No respond

"Vicky?" No respond. I decide to get dressed and check what is going on.

I open the door and Vicky is sleeping. But where is Shawn? He is nowhere to be seen. I wake up Vicky...

"Vicky, Vicky! Where is Shawn??"

"Shawn? I don't know, I last seen him on the couch."

"Will you help me look for him??"

"Of course."

We looked everywhere. He was nowhere to be found! I decided to call his cell phone with the cabin phone. No answer. We didn't know where he could be until we found a sticky note on the wall of the kitchen. It read...

'Sorry about your boyfriend. He is with me now and you will never see him again... Much Love❤️'

"What does this mean!?" exclaimed Vicky

"I honestly don't know, but we must find him!!"

"Who would have done this Kait??"

"I don't know. Who ever it is, they are psycho though"

I furiously opened up my door and there stood Joe in his robe.

"Hey, Kaitlyn, I'm sorry I just stormed off like that last night. I was kind of mad, I thought we had something. Can we redo that whole day and start fresh tonight?"

"Joe, I'm sorry but there are other, more important things on my plate right now. I'm sorry"

"Well, do you need me to help you with anything I will for sure!"

"Well here is the problem, Shawn, my best friend, has gone missing and we found this note! Me and Vicky are trying to find him!"

"Shawn is your boyfriend....? I thought we could have started over and had something special Kaitlyn!!!"

Joe storms out.

"Well, I guess he's a little emotional.." said Vicky laughing

"Ya think!....Lets go find Shawn!"

We step out of the cabin and smell the fresh pine trees. We chose to go toward the wooded area. We entered the woods and we started walking when suddenly we herd leaves crunching. We called out..

"SHAWN?"

"SHAWN!"

Then we see a shadow and out comes a man.

"Nope it's just me! :)"

"JOE?! what are you doing here?"

"Well I herd Shawn was missing so I wanted to help! after I stormed off...again... I wanted to help!"

"Oh well thank you. Did you find anything?"

"Well, I know for sure he's not back here"

"Okay lets keep looking"

So we turned around and headed the other way when suddenly, we herd a scream coming from the woods. I turned around and started running and running until... I found Shawn. On the ground all scratched up. I kneeled down next to him. He was awake. I helped him up and we started walking back to the cabin. When suddenly we realized.......Where is Joe?!?
