Chapter 4. Breakfast

Shawn's p.o.v

It was 8:15 in the morning I was so excited for my date with Nikki today. I put on my maroon sweatshirt and kakis. I went in the bathroom brushed my teeth, combed my hair and sprayed axe. Kaitlyn always use to tell me how she loved how it smelled. But forget Kaitlyn, yes I still have feelings but I need to focus on Nikki today.

By the time I was all ready it was 8:45 I checked my phone and I got no messages but I saw my background, it was me and Kaitlyn I got to change that but then I got a text from Nikki;

"I'm all ready to go! ;)"

I totally forgot what I was doing and called a taxi to pick me up. Obviously i was too young to drive her myself. Hope she doesn't mind were taking a taxi. Me and Kaitlyn loved to take taxi's all over.

I showed up at Nikki's house and walked up to her door. I took a deep breath and knocked quietly. Its was 9:15 so I didn't know if her family was asleep. She quickly opened the door with a big smile and I walked her to the taxi. I sat in the back with her so she wouldn't feel awkward.

"Hope you don't mind the taxi"

"It's fine, It's a little dirty but I guess next time we will just walk."

Okay, bad first impression? I decided to not tell her where we were going for breakfast and she didn't ask questions. Actually I was the only one really doing the talking she was just on twitter.

We got out of the taxi and I payed. We pulled up to iHop. It was me and Kaitlyn's favorite place to go for breakfast!

"iHop?" she said in disgust

"Yes, is this okay.."

"Well it's pretty low class in there but I mean I guess it will be okay"

I took her inside and we got seated right away. We barley talked the whole time..I don't know why she was acting so different. Maybe she just isn't a morning person. After breakfast she got up.

"I'll be waiting outside while you take care of the bill" she says walking out

I payed for the whole thing which was fine but she was being a little rude about it.

"Where are we going now?" She says with an attitude

"Well, I'm just going to take you home."

"Okay, Maybe you can buy me breakfast tomorrow" she says

I roll my eyes

"I'll get a taxi"

I take out my phone to call one and she see's my background.

"Who is this?" She asks

"My neighbor and best friend"

"Is that that looser girl Kaitlyn?"

"Um, I'm sorry but you have been disrespecting me all day and now you are disrespecting kaitlyn? Take your own taxi home"

I gave her $5 because I didn't know if she had money and I walked away. She didn't seem sad or mad she just stood there with a smirk on her phone. Probably on twitter.

I decided to walk home. I was thinking about Kaitlyn. Did she get there alright? is she alone? is she having a good time? I wanted to talk to her so badly but I couldn't.

When I was walking home I got a phone call.

-ring

-ring

Shawn: Hello?

Matt: Hey. You went on a date with Nikki??

Shawn: Kind of. Why?

Matt: Did you check twitter?

Shawn: No? why did she post something?

Matt: Did she post something!? Yes! Lets just say everyone thinks you're a major ass hole!

Shawn: What do you mean?

Matt: look for your self!

I checked twitter she posted a picture of herself in front of iHop with a caption that said 'horrible date with @shawnnmendes he left me in the street after I paid for his breakfast :("

I was furious. Enraged. Mad as hell. Who is going to want to be friends with me now? Or even date me.

Guess what? I don't care what anybody thinks of me because I only want Kaitlyn and I've always ever wanted Kaitlyn nobody else but her. And I will tell her one way or another.
