Clair's
I feel uncertain. Really. Did I just flew a paper plane and responded to him?
I don't know if that was me a while ago, I mean... ugh why am I making it, that, this, a big deal?!
And why am I acting this way?
I got up in my bed and literally banged my head into the pillow I was holding just a minute ago. It's just a paper plane-
'but with your 'respond' letter in it, also saying 'thank you' and that you were flattered'
Says the back of my mind. Dammit!
'also you really wrote that he stared like you've done something wrong!'
"Clair!" my brother called, slightly shouting. "Magbihis ka na daw!"
"Okay!" I yelled back. "You don't have to knock on my door, hardly," I murmured as I got up and headed straight to my closet, searching for clothes to wear.
Hindi na ako sure kung pupunta pa ba ako o magpapaiwan nalang dito. I just felt embarrassed, I think.
"Clair?" my mom called, knocking the door. I let her come in as I search for clothes to wear. "Suotin mo 'to," she said.
Humarap ako sa kanya. She was holding a caramel colored dress na hanggang tuhod. I frowned. Kailangan ba talaga?
"What's with the face?" taas kilay niyang tanong sa akin and laid the dress on top of my bed.
"Do I need to?" I asked her and then continued on searching for clothes as if wala akong nakitang damit bago lang.
"It's just a small welcome party, mom atsaka we're just inches away to the destination," I sarcastically said. "And no need to dress like that," I added and then looked at her. Nakabihis na kasi siya. She's wearing a not so long-not so short beige dress and heels.
Arms akimbo, she said, "Stop on what you're doing Clair Therese. We're newly moved in here and we don't want to look like we were living down the streets before, right? Kaya mag-ayos ka na diyan," and then glared at me before turning her back.
Yeah, right.
I let out a sigh and looked back at the dress. I don't have a choice anymore but to wear it. I took it and fixed myself.
