Brylle's
As I heard the doorbell, dumiretso agad ako sa harap ng pintuan. I want to see Clair.
"I got it," I replied when my mom ordered me to open the door for her.
I'm nervous but in the same time excited. I don't know why, but Clair has really this kind of effect on me... since day one.
"Good evening Mrs. Jimenez," I firstly greeted the woman in front who widely smiled at me. I slightly bowed my head and gave her way.
"Emily?" she asked me but my mom instantly shouted, "Here Carol!" and I let her go to where my mom is.
"Bro!" Clarence, Clair's brother greeted me. We patted each others back and I saw Clair at his back, looking down.
I smiled. She's... stunning.
"Sabi mo a, maglalaro tayo," sabi ni Clarence at bumaling ako sa kanya. I nodded.
We're already are close dahil pareho pala kaming mga gusto. Basketball, games...
"Ate! Hi!" Bri greeted. Clair still in shock, hindi niya siguro alam na may kapatid ako. She's more beautiful when she smiles.
"Bro, are you listeni- wait what..." natauhan lang ako nang bigla akong kinabig ni Renz. "You like my sister?" bulong niya, almost shouting.
"Dude? Do you?"
"Is it obvious?" I asked him, scratching my nape. "Am I too obvious?"
"Dude, don't ask me if you know you are," he just replied to me. "She's precious so don't try to hurt her... or else you know what's next."
And he'll beat the hell out of me.
"Where's you're gaming room?" he asked me. He patted my back at nauna na doon.
Why would I hurt her? She's precious... as Clarence said a second ago.
"Kuya, can you talk to Ate Clair for a second? May kukuhanin lang ako sa kwarto," Bri said as she reached out my hand and then ran up to her room, leaving me with Clair.
I laughed. At narinig kong bahagya ring tumawa si Clair. I watched her slightly laughing while shaking his head. Nang nahuli niya akong tinitingnan siya, she stopped and blushed.
"I'm sorry," she muttered and looked away, still blushing.
"No it's okay," I said. "Actually, I'm like listening to my new favorite song..." I added. And it is your laughter.
"Oh," she blushed again. I stared at her brown hazel eyes, unsettled. I slightly shook my head as a smile formed my lips.
