I said I'd do a one-shot to do with weight, so here you are You-You-You [what just happened, the link actually WORKED!!!]. [Also, this is based on a story you said].
"Here, take these and give them to Paul." George's mum gave him some sweets and chocolates. "Tell him he can come to ours tonight for a sleep over."
"Mum, it's not a sleep over!" George moaned. "That's for girls. Just say he's hanging round or something."
"Aww, is mummy embarrassing her baby boy?" His mum cooed and hugged George, who struggled in her grip. A few cute girls from his school [one of which George fancied] were walking past and giggled at him. George went very red.
"Right, I'm going now mum, bye." George broke free of his mum and started jogging down the street to Paul's house. He only walked until his mum went back inside his house.
George looked down at the treats he carried longingly. His mum had been sending sweets to Paul ever since his mum, Mary, had passed away a month ago. George's mum and Mary had been firm friends, and Louise had felt so bad for Paul, who had always been polite to her when he came round. George just wished he might get some sweets too, once in a while. However, he resisted the temptation to eat them, and managed to survive the whole walk eating any..... Well, maybe one..... or three......
George knocked on Paul's door. Paul opened it, looking slightly tired but none the less happy to see his best friend.
"These are for you," George handed the food to Paul.
"Thanks mate. Thank your mum too."
"You can do that yourself; mum invited you round to ours tonight."
"Oh, gear. I'll go in and tell my dad, and grab my guitar."
George closed the door behind him and walked into the clean house. They went into the living room and Paul told his dad he was going to George's. Then they rushed upstairs so Paul could pack his stuff.
When Paul had finished, they were going out the door when Michael [Paul's younger brother] stopped them in their tracks.
"You were given sweets again?" Mike eyed the bag of food Paul was carrying.
"Yeah." Paul answered, not sure where this was going.
"I wouldn't eat those if I were you. You're a bit too fat for sweets, aren't you? Fatty."
"No, I'm not... You're just jealous." Paul tried to stand up for himself, but there wasn't much confidence in his voice. A little voice in his head was agreeing with Mike.
George had noticed Paul had got a bit of a tummy, but he certainly wasn't going to tell him, and he was outraged at Mike calling him 'fatty'. But rather than reacting to Mike [which is what Mike wanted] he dragged Paul by his sleeve and up the pavement to his house.
"Fatty, fatty!" Mike called out to him in a sing-song voice, making Paul wince, almost as if he'd been physically hurt.
"Ignore him." George muttered to Paul, shaking his head.
Paul could ignore Mike, but not the horrid voice in his head that was telling him he was fat...
***
It was evening now, and George and Paul were lying on George's bed together, talking about life. That day, they'd been playing songs together, and some of them were going well. They were just chilling before they went to sleep.
"You don't mind me sharing your bed with you?" Paul asked George politely, even though there wasn't a choice and they'd done it before.
"What, so you'd rather sleep on the floor? Is there something wrong with my sleeping?" George joked.
"Actually, you have a tendency to wrap yourself around people in your sleep. Maybe we should get you a cuddly toy..." Paul teased him, and George sulked slightly.
Then Louise opened the door, "Boys, it's time for bed now, okay? It's pretty late now."
"Ugh! Fine..." George whined, and his mum sighed and went out the room.
The boys got changed, and lay in bed together. It was silent for a while.
"George?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you..... think I'm.... fat?"
"Paul, you're really not."
"Then why did Mike call me 'fatty'?"
"Because he's a jealous guy."
"What of?"
"Because you've got me as a friend, and I'm gear." George laughed, and Paul chuckled.
Paul still worried though, long after George had fell asleep. He was still awake when George was tossing around in bed.
He must've drifted off eventually, because when Paul woke, he had George wrapped around him, still asleep. Paul giggled at his 'baby brother', as he thought of him.
That's when it hit him. It didn't matter what size he was, George would always love him. They would never judge or bully each other. They would always stick with each other, always be friends. They would always be brothers.
Sorry this was really short, I kinda rushed it, so it's not very good. I just wanted to show my appreciation to one of my Wattpad sisters! :)
