Dedicated to @JimMorrisonsGirl. [Ugh! The tag won't work now]!!! Anyway:

"Kayla, you're so beautiful!" Jim Morrison, my boyfriend, kissed me again. His lips were tough against my soft ones, and his soft, wavy hair brushed my cheek.

We were lying in bed together after a concert him and his band [The Doors] had just preformed. It was an amazing concert, yet again, and it made my spine tingle to remember the sensation of the crowd and the music. I'd seen so many of their concerts, but each one gave me that special feel. It made me fell like crying, laughing, jumping, and sitting quietly all at the same time. It was unreal.

Jim stopped kissing me and stroked my hair, "I'm so lucky to have you."

"Yeah, you are really." I joked, and we both laughed. I rested my head on his shoulder, and we held hands.

"Kayla, you're a special girl."

"You're a special man. And your mine."

Jim smiled, his usually serious face lighting up lightly, "But there's something I want to give you. Something to prove our bond, and how happy you make me."

"What is it?" I answered quietly, holding back tears. I'd had boyfriends before, but they only wanted me to look cool. Jim was different though. He really loved me. He treated me like I was worth everything in the world, but we were at ease around each other. We felt comfortable with each other. Jim was usually a serious person, but around me he would lighten up more. Smile and laugh more. It was magic. Now he wanted to give me something, just to show how much he loved me. I didn't know someone could love me so much. It felt so good

Jim reached into his pocket, and brought out a small object. It was a ring.

"We're not getting engaged." He said calmly, "Not yet, anyway. It'd be a bit too soon really. But, until then, I want to give you this promise ring."

I stared at the ring in awe. It was silver, with a small, clear blue crystal on it. It was so alluring, just simply irresistible.

Jim slipped it on my finger, "It's a Benitoite crystal; it's extremely rare."

"I don't deserve it."

"Of course you deserve it! You're my girl, so I can give you whatever I like.  Anyway, you look stunning in it, darling."

A few tears fell down my cheek. Jim gently wiped them away.

"Promise me one thing," he whispered.

I nodded, still choked up.

"That you'll always be my girl. And wearing this ring will keep us together."

"We'll always be together, Jim. I can promise you that for sure."

I really hope you like this Kayla! It's my first time ever writing romance [or about Jim Morrison] so I hope I did okay. :)
