The One Week Beginning

" Camryn Matthews for early release." 2:00 pm. I snapped back out of my day dream when I heard my name over the intercom. Finally! Spring break is finally here! It's like I've been staring at the clock the whole class. I quickly get up, get my stuff together, and rush out the door. Adios, muchachos! I meet up with my best friend, Kierra Southers, who was going on vacation with me.

"Yay!" I scream running toward her.

"Finally!" She said just what I was thinking.

We went to find my brother and mom waiting for us at the front desk. I say some quick goodbyes to teachers and student and could not help, but smile! I have been waiting for this moment. I took off my 50 pound backpack and popped on my blue sunglasses. Let's get ready for this 12 hour trip to Florida!

"Cause all of me loves all of you" I start singing as the song comes on. 2 hours left and I can barely hold my excitement in. Soon I will be relaxing on a beach chair as the palm trees wave in front of me. Ahh... I look over to Kiera who is completely asleep, so I open up wattpad. I know it's bad, but I have a complete addiction to wattpad. I opened up the book I was reading "Along for the Ride" and I immediately started adding things to my list of traits my boyfriends should have. Gosh, all of these books with all of their lovey dovey acts have me imagining the perfect boyfriend. If only I could get my first one... Anyway I hope I meet some new people in Florida. We are staying at a big resort and it's spring break so anything could happen. I start dreaming until my eyelids start to fall and I am well asleep.

"Wake up!" Kiera screams in my ear, shaking me and I slowly open my eyes to the sun rise and palm trees of Florida. "Ahhh!!" I'm so happy that I jump out of the car just twirling around. It's still really early in the morning, so no one is out yet. I wait in the car while my dad checks us in. The resort definitely is huge! There is a golf course, enormous sun-shaped pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a running trail, which I can not wait to try. I love running and with track starting I have to make sure I don't slack off this spring break. When my dad comes back he gives me a key and I get my stuff heading toward the lobby. I see someone who is turned around, but he has a resort shirt on , so I guess he is an employee. I head up to him and ask him if he can help me with some of my bags, but my voice trails off when he turns around. He looks around my age;16 and has the blonde hair\ blue eyes I've been dreaming of. He smiles and closes my mouth with his hand. My face gets red, but I quickly give him one of my bags.

"Where to?" He asks amused, but obviously I can not say anything. Kiera, who I forgot was even there answers for me luckily "room 118." He smiled and starting walking "This way" he says as Kiera starts laughing at me and I shove her a bit, but could not help but laugh along. What was I thinking?! Well that's easy, nothing except for him! When we get to our room no one is there yet. We must have gotten up here first. I took my bag from him and smiled like crazy. He chuckled a little looking at us and winking.

"See you guys later" he says and looks back just barely back and says " oh ya by the way I'm Ryan."

Ahhh! I quickly shut the door and start squealing. Kiera looks at me like I'm crazy, "what are you so excited bout?" She asks

"He winked at me Kiera! Oh my gosh! " I start fanning my face to calm myself and Kiera laughs.

"He was obviously winking at me" she smirks

"Oh ya?" I look at her and before you know it both of us are on the ground laughing! " a guy actually winked at us" I say while tears of laughter fall down my face. Maybe this is why we don't have boyfriends pssh..

That might change though I mean it's only been one hour and look where that got me!
